    Direct Fit short headers

Does anyone know of a direct fit brand of short headers that will not require any modifications? 5.7 NON E Torque. My manifolds are still in working order, but I want to make the switch when the time comes. 1 and done.

    time for ATs

I am ready to move on from the factory tires and get some ATs. Of couse I want the biggest and widest that will fit. However, all information I can find deals with stock rims and the +18 offset OEM. I have Vision 20x9s that have a 0 offset so there is significantly more room behind the tires...

    Looking for spare fuse slot

A lot of great information here on fuse names and locations. Got all that. But, just out of curiosity, has anyone posted a list of fuses by number AND power supply? Some of the fuse names and what they supposedly do is very confusing and technical jargon. A simple #'d list of "always on"...

    Looking for spare fuse slot

That is the problem, a LOT of empty slots under the hood. Not many choices, and I hate the idea of running wire thru the firewall into the cabin. Not worth the work.

    Looking for spare fuse slot

Thanks for the info. I am trying to use a fuse tap, so I am limited to the Micro 2 fuses. F12 is an odd size. Did you just stick the power wire in the slot with the fuse blade?

    Looking for spare fuse slot

4 years later and still having the same problem. I am trying to install some LEDS and I have spent hours trying to find a circuit that is key operated. All have no power or 24/7 power. Very frustrating and I cannot believe all the empty slots in this thing. Hardly any choices. Soooo, tomorrow I...

    Curt connector difference

Well I keep trying to figure this out. What does this extension accomplish? If it plugs in the the back of the 7 pin and other end goes to the original power cable that you just disconnected from the back of the 7 pin, wouldnt it just offer and longer cable to work with? Im having trouble...

    Curt connector difference

Thank you Richard320. That makes sense. I am adding addditonal light to supplement the back up lights and thought that using the Curt harness would be the easiest route but I can tap into the 7 pin. Thanks again

    Curt connector difference

I have read different posts here about the Curt trailer harness. I have a 2020 Laramie with Trailer brake controls and it has a 4 pin connector. Does anyone know why some trucks come with a 5 pin Curt that includes the backup lights? Just curious as to why the different set ups.

Another dash speaker “upgrade” thread / review

those arent the capacitors. They are in the bottom of the styrofoam packaging. Much larger black cylinders.

Did you use the capacitors on the + side that came with the speakers?

Another dash speaker “upgrade” thread / review

I have the Alpine 9 speaker system and getting ready to install the Infinity 3032s dash corners tomorrow and Crutchfield says to make sure I wire in the 270 Microfarad capacitors that came with the speakers. WHAT?? What was the purpose of buying the plug in adapters if I have to cut, splice...

    Power Running Boards

Just had another thought. My truck came with one of those shady GPS units installed by the dealership without disclosure. Well, that thing expires next month and I am thinking about yanking it out of there but was wondering if it is powered by the OBD II port as well. If so, then the dealership...

    Power Running Boards

Makes sense, thanks for the tip. I will look at adding a splitter. It is probably a good idea to have the OBD II port available for diagnostics anyways so a splitter makes perfect sense. I assume the splitter would be visible also unless you unclip the port and move it up as you suggested, right?

    Power Running Boards

I just had my AMP Research steps installed. So far so good, BUT the PCM module that is plugged into the OBD II hangs down below the bottom of the dash and is visible. Not a big deal, but wondering if that is the correct install. Thanks

Lowered the rear 2" last night.

The 272720s have a larger inner diameter than the 272920s. ( according to MaxTrac CS)

Lowered the rear 2" last night.

I went with the 272920s. They've been around forever and seem to work fine. MaxTrac rep seemed more keen on those than the newer #, only because they have sold hundreds with no problems. I am letting them settle in now to see if any more adjustmets are necessary. Truck isn't perfectly level but...
