I have a 2019 Longhorn, I have 2 broken bolts on the passenger side manifold, most dealers I have reached out to say the parts are on back order for a couple of months, 2 online sources show the parts as obsolete. Has anyone heard they are redesigning them?
My problem ended up being the active air dam that lowers above maybe 35mph so not sure how you test that short of a go pro tied to the underside of your front bumper to see it it moves.
Just wanted to follow up on my experience with the replacement gears/motors from Gruven. I would stay away from them. I bought 2 sets to do both mirrors. There are 2 potential failure modes in the ram mirrors, if the motor fails, Gruven might work for you. In my case and in what I have read...
That is what the dealer told me when they charged me $800. I had replaced the active grill shutters after getting a code I think it was U11E9 which from looking at the forum was the BCM not seeing the AGS. I checked the connector and finally broke down and replaced the AGS.

Actually it is a discount code, not sure if it will work on anything else or not. Once we get enough you can try it on a different version, got nothing to lose.
I was having the same issue, replaced the active grill shutter for a mere $350, didn’t fix the problem, turned out it was the active air dam. Dealer charged me $800.
My understanding from what I have read is ease of use and user interface. There are some functions that a Tazer can do that you cannot do with a AlphaOBD. I am changing tire size so I can pull my camper, leave driving lights on while high beams, enter addresses into nav system while moving...
Will be a slight delay in installing the parts from Gruven, had a small issue with one of the parts but so far they have been really responsive. I am working on instructions and work flow to take the mirrors apart, not too bad once you figure out where those little devils put all the tabs.
Finally broke down and took my truck to the dealer for the U11E9, I had replaced the AGS, checked the wiring and the check engine light stayed on. The dealer said it was the active air dam that was at fault so for a mere $850 my check engine light is off, hopefully for a long time. So if...
Did the dealership fix the check engine light? I am having the same issues, truck has 55k on it, I have replaced the active grill shutter, both the new one and old one act the same way, checked the wires and connector.
