Anyone have any input on the what that sensor in the picture above is for?

oh, I assumed since the A-model is coming soon, it was the newer version. On my 2020 RAM, it is the A-Model, so I'm SOL.

I went to their site and their new model that matches the newer cowlings isn't available yet.

The issue I see with that is you have to pay for a voice plan as well as a data plan. Almost double what I would be paying for data only

Several. My dashcam can provide realtime notifications when in parking mode; the grandkids and passengers can surf and go online without having phones or tethering to them. My OBDII plug can send realtime telemetry to my log book.

Has anyone installed a Cell hotspot into there RAM? I'm looking at the Netgear M1 or 790S. Anyone have any experience with these or recommendations for other units? I have T-Mobile and can get a decent deal on a non-phone SIM with 10GB per month add-on for like $5 a month. TIA

I got my step installed. FCA paid half and the dealer picked up the other half. Don't know why they don't include it with the BUG and MFT options or at least deduct money from the BUG option if you get the MFT. They allow you a $295 credit if you back out the sport hood. Fits nicely and works...

From what I've read, the UConnect is available without NAV, you need the 4C version of HU and Uconnect.

I understand that. But FCA doesn't discount the MFT/BUG options for not getting the step and the fact they sell it as an accessory means it's not an issue putting it on the truck (safety or otherwise). Others posted on here they got compensated for it.
