Well, TK's Garage on YouTube has had a stellar track record on this news over the last 6 months. And he's been saying for a while that the Hemi is back for Ram 1500, Hellcat engine stays in Durango for a while longer, and they're measuring/testing the new 2025 Charger to see if a Hemi will...
Was waiting for somebody to bring this up.
I guess the 3.0 Hurricane is great until it's in the shop for 2 days getting a water pump, or 2 months getting a new wire harness, or any of the other issues we're seeing on that Euro engineered dog pile. Just wait until those things are out of...
The people voting I-6TT haven’t gotten to high miles yet. Just wait until those very expensive out of warranty costs start piling up and then let’s do this poll.
BTW… credible sources are talking about the 5.7 coming back to BOTH trucks, the Ram and the Jeep. Although, it’s interesting...
I just traded my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 3.6L P-star and 201,900 on the odometer. Only repair it had was a water pump at 198k. I would have kept it forever except I got a strong itch for a Challenger 392 Hemi.
NO "cold air intake" kit is going to add that much power unless tuning goes along with it. That's too much of a change in airflow for the stock tune to deal with. The MAF sensor is going to freak out. I'm calling shenanigans on that. Either that kit isn't really making the power advertised...
Been over a year and my thoughts haven't changed. The Hurricane has shown typical issues: overheating, **** poor design that makes it difficult to change common parts, backorder of critical components like water pumps, etc. etc. They can keep that junk.
Kuniskis is back and he's already...
Yeah I never understood why they didn't do a special model with the 6.4. Anyhow, here we are looking at big sales declines quarter after quarter after quarter in the sales reports. Can't wait to see how far they fell again Q4 when those numbers hit in two weeks. Meanwhile, GM and Ford are...
I assume you mean from post #3? Those are the 20x9 wheels from the Built To Serve edition trucks, wrapped in 35x11.50R20 Falken Wildpeak R/T tires. No rubbing or clearance issues at all, but it was pretty close at the mud flaps on the front when I would steer sharply. Worked great. I even...
Quarter after quarter after quarter sales keep falling. This began when Stellantis announced to the nation that V8 engines were going away forever. Lots of guys on this forum think losing the V8s has nothing to do with it. How long do these sales numbers need to keep falling until they...
You should go back to the dealer and have them repair it. The '25 I drove was the most quiet truck I've ever driven. From the driver seat I literally had to look at the tachometer to even tell if it was running.
Having said that, sounding like a diesel would be a great quality.
Vinegar is the trick. I stupidly got cement mix all over my tailgate and panicked. Could not get it off with anything I tried. Nothing. My mother actually told me to try vinegar, so I went in the kitchen when the wife wasn't looking at stole her vinegar. It worked!
I ran 295/60R20 on my '20 with the ORG suspension and a 1" level in the front. It was absolutely the largest I could have gone...couldn't slide a sheet of paper between the tire and splash guard at full turn.
To do it over again on that truck I would have gone with 305/55R20 because to me the...
I've had several midsize 1/2 tons with the 5' beds, several fullsize 1/2 tons with the 5.5' beds (5'7" in the case of Ram), and currently I'm driving a fullsize 3/4 ton with a 6'9" bed. Our main useage is camping and boating trips with the family, though sometimes I do pull heavier equipment...
Well if that's the mindset we're going into this with, then you could apply that to a LOT of things. Why use the oil spec'd in the manual? Heck I'm sure the new 0W8 oil would reduce pumping losses and free up 4 horsepower. You could run no air filter at all, 0W8 oil, 85 octane fuel and I'm...
There was a thread on this already. The 2025s have shown quite a few quality issues. We've seen some of them even play out in YouTube reviews. Matt Maran's 2025 tester totally lost all cruise control function and the infotainment went wacky. My 2025 tester had a windshield that wasn't sealed...
Yep, on the 1500s AND the 2500s with diesel engines, PAYLOAD is the number you have to watch out for. You will run out of that before anything else, just as Calvin said a couple pages back.
Always figure campers at 15% of their total GVWR to be on your tongue. So a 7,000 lb. camper is going...
