Following for any updates too. I recently just noticed the same issue with my 2020.
I have a feeling we will start seeing more people with this issue.
I have same issue here as everyone else, and outside warranty.
I have the cracks. Mine ends up letting water in at the driver side rear pillar area.
I'm thinking about using clear flex seal spray and blasting it into the upper window channel. Thinking of maybe using a oil funnel that I have...
Curious about how Ram is managing these complaints nowadays with the star case.
I have a 2020 with 41K miles that developed the crack this winter and never really noticed anything wet. Recently tested it by pouring a good 8 cups of water into the rear window channel, and now I see a leak at the...
did a bit of an internet search and understand now. (clutch vs mechanical, etc.)
Do the newer rebels with 4A use the 48-11 clutch based system or are they putting in the 48-13 that comes in the TRX
What is the benefit of the transfer case without the 4A that the '19 and '20s came with? It seems like only downsides? There must be some kind of upside if the other 1500 lines were coming with 4A, but not the rebel.
I've always thought it was a bummer to not have 4A on my rebel in those 1 inch...
Ya, I was between the two and test drove both. I was surprised to hear that the sales person thought it was weird for me to be considering and comparing the two.
A quick drive around the block in the rebel sold me for sure over the gladiator.
2020 here with coil springs. Built in 02/2020, and have no reservoirs .
I'd be curious to compare the diameter of the reservoir vs no reservoir tubes, as mine maybe look beefier than the picture of the reservoir shock earlier in the thread
I'm looking at buying extended warranty soon too (probably 6 year 100k max plan)
I think I'll likely go with $200 deductible.
It is between $100 - $200 more for $100 deductible plan.
In my opinion, if I was at my 3rd visit ( which would be break even for cost difference and deductible), I've...
I did a little experiment and I think the MDS (and lack of it at high speeds) has a lot to do with poor highway MPG.
I just did a 400 mile trip (200 back and forth), and I tested out two different speeds. I went 68 on the way there and 65 on the way home.
I have a 5.7 rebel without e-torque...
So my window sticker doesn't have it listed, but my build sheet does have it (can get yours here https://fcacommunity.force.com/RAM/s/equipment-listing)
Can someone take a picture of the suspected hardware/ senor that would be responsible to create this warning. I want to see if I physically...
My 2020 rebel with level 2 does not warn for an open tailgate.
My window sticker doesn't have it listed either though...
It's weird what features get added and dropped between trims....( Vented seats, front camera on the off-road trim, and now tailgate warning). Rebel is still worth it :p
When I was thinking about building a Rebel, I also noticed that. I emailed ram and got this response.
"We understand you are interested in the 12 inch radio! The package does include the 19-Speaker Harman Kardon® Premium Sound. You are actually unable to build the vehicle with both the Rebel 12...
I think it might have improved the bottom line by $500 or so. I think it can stack with dealer discounts. Because my dealer discount of 6800ish seems to be more than just 1% below invoice.
Also, in a previous car purchase in the family, final negotiation resulted in a presumed price expecting...
About one month ago, got a 2020 Ram Rebel, decently loaded.
MSRP was just about 62,800.
Ended up just under 52,000 after discount, rebates, and friends discount. + TTL
Seems decent for a Rebel.
This did include a trade in with what I think was an average offer.
I've noticed this too.
But at the end of the day, my trip meter, which I typically reset at fill up, seems to show pretty accurate mpg compared to hand calculation.
I've noticed also that resetting one of the mpg meters resets them both. They might be a bit buggy.
Curious to see if this is just poor design, or I have an issue.
I use the auto headlights option, and it seems the headlights are pretty aggressive to turn on, for example in cloudy daylight.
That is fine, but the annoying part is that it always seems to trigger my dash to dim into night mode...
