Magnaflow or Carven catback? And why?

I have the Carven on my 19. Can’t beat the sound. I don’t think any other manufacturer comes close. Nice and mellow inside but regardless of who you choose, you will always have some drone when MDS kicks on. It’s tolerable with the Carven and is almost unnoticeable if you have the radio on a...

    shift flare/slippage?

Has anyone else experienced shift flare or slippage while the transmission is shifting from 5th to 6th gear? I was towing my boat the other day, using the tow/haul mode, and while under moderate throttle, around 2500 RPM’s, I noticed the tach jump up slightly accompanied by an audible increase...

    Handgun Mount

I use a magnet that’s mounted to the right of the wheel so it’s accessible with my right hand. I used the 4 screws that came with the magnet. If I ever do trade this truck in, I’ll just leave it there just like my last RAM. I live in rural Texas and I’m sure the next owner would appreciate it...

    22” wheels with tires.

No. Absolutely not. If yours came with the Goodyear’s like mine, they’re horrible in light mud. The tread pattern doesn’t allow the mud to shed off. It cakes On super quick. Be prepared to slide until you get traction. Light dirt....yeah your fine. Wet weather performance of the good years is...

    Cheaper exhaust idea?

I would skip the Carven and any other manufacturer for the time being. Wait a little bit for everyone to get the kinks out. My personal experience with Carven is sub-par at best. Sounds great, fits like :poop:.....unless you’re willing to take it to a shop to have it aligned like I did. They...

    Went with the Huskyliners

The Mopars look nice but too thin for my purposes. I paid $184.02 for my Husky’s front and back. The fit is perfect (y) Front https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07F1DZ5T2/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Back https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07F1JGJ88/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Carven cat back system

Received my rear sections yesterday. For those wondering, I received 2 rear sections, 2 tips, and hardware. For my purposes, the passenger side was the problem so I decided to replace it with the new redesigned section. Went on great, lines up with the factory hanger perfectly. I like the idea...

Does your truck sit level front to back or do you still have a rake?

    Power steps

No air suspension on my rig. I drove it around a ton today and didn’t encounter the issue of the drivers side staying down. Even tried opening the door, closing it, remote start and then immediately opening and closing the door and it still retracted relatively quick.

    Carven cat back system

 wonder if mine will be here soon also.

    Power steps

If true, I wonder if this can be corrected with reprogramming? It would suck if you had to manually retract them or create an event like opening and closing a door every time they’re stuck.

    Power steps

Geez......this makes a lot of sense. I’m going to try this also (y)

    Power steps

I have not tried that yet. Seems like the times they want to stay down is only when I’m sitting in the seat. Really wish they were truly “automatic” and you wouldn’t have to worry about them performing correctly. For such a pricey option I expect a little more

    Power steps

Yeah I forgot to mention that mine will also take a while to retract sometimes but other times the drivers side will legitimately not retract no matter how long I wait.

    Power steps

Weird...not sure if this would even be worth bringing to my dealer for them to look at.

    Carven cat back system

 damn they got you too I thought they actually liked my money. I could care less about the shirt but why lie about it?? Still loving the sound of the system just wish I could keep the passenger side tip centered.

    Carven cat back system

Geez.....well at least I’m not the only one then. Are you driving around with yours on or did you take the whole system down?

    Carven cat back system

This thread is somewhat old......is there anyone on here with an installed Carven Cat Back? Specifically the “redesigned” system with the new rear hangers..... .......I called you guys October 22 and was told that you were still working on the redesign. But you did say you were sending me a t...
