Very friendly place. Thanks!
Unfortunately my idea of checking everything is quite idealistic. They, as well as a regular dealership service, cannot discover something what doesn't exists. If is completely obvious or the computer is showing something - sure, otherwise they can only do a general...
Hi,
Do you guys know any good reliable place which specialize in modern (full of electronics) RAMs in San Diego area?
End of warranty and lease buyout - both terms are coming at the same in less then a month. I'm looking for a great reliable place to find out if anything requires a fix or...
Is there any difference with the air suspension? I understand simple logic of front heavier (engine, cabin) and lighter back (empty), however I'm asking because my sticker for OEM shows 32 front and back cold.
@dale661, I just changed wheels & tires and used this tool to check what it will suggest. My old tires supposed to be 32 front and back cold, and this tool doesn't have 32. The lowest is 35. Anyway, with this settings It suggested the same pressure, however it gave me a warning.
Chalk test on...
Thanks @Nick57 ! After all I went a bit different route because I don't need 20" wheels but your info gave me confidence in wide selection of options. I need extra cushion when off-roading (wash boards, small rocks) so I'm totally happy with 18" rims, which I found for just $300, so I downsized...
@Nick57 your wheel/tire setup is just perfect, and exactly what I need. I currently have lame stock 20x9 Premium Painted wheels, but the rest is the same, 2019 Larami with ORP and air. I need that beefy tire so I can air it down in remote places. Is your wheel 18"? Do you know any more details...
Thanks Nails. Looks like it could be a gamble. Quite expensive. I think I will survive without being "cool" and just drive additional miles to avoid this.
I'm worried less about this part. More about all that what could cost a lot and generally will affect mechanical health of the truck - engine, transmission, anything else. Will it affect any of that?
I'm planing a trip where everyone would have to do the water crossing like in this video. It seems like everyone could do it, but is it really worth? What is the risk? To avoid it I would have to drive many miles in a different direction. From what I read I'm risking of some long term slow...
Hi Clyde,
No I didn’t yet and I’m not sure what I’m waiting for ;) I deeply hope some miracle company will show up on the market, they will read about all problems in each different shell and put together one new modern and fully functional amazing topper  on top of this now I see that we...
Thanks everyone for some advises, links, and messages. After all I was able to get my money back, however I was already at the point of telling the dealer and Smugtop that we are going to see each other at the court. Snugtop completely didn't care because they do not sell directly. Dealer...
I think I found out why my top doesn't match my truck. There is a difference between CrewCab and QuadCab and looks like Smugtop do not understand that, and creates only one type for both trucks. I have no clue how they got the best on the market reputation with such an ignorance. Looks like this...
Does anyone here have QuadCab /6'4 bed and installed top shell with side windoors ? Could you post some pictures from the front angle?
I created a separate thread as the SnugTop I received doesn't fit correctly and I need to make a decision what is the best alternative. Thanks in advance...
