Its a balance of economy vs performance. Yes; they can probably make a 40 mpg hemi. But no one would buy it because it would be a DOG! In order to get the performance people expect you sacrifice economy.
The EV trucks will find their spot. It will probably be on a farm where low end torque is...
They're trying to make the biggest bang for the buck (their buck) from the start. If they can prove a truck can be viable as an EV then the car EV sales should be easy. Thats why you are seeing EV penetrate the racing market (experimentally). Dakar, Isle of Man...; if they perform respectively...
They should have put a indian-head hood ornament on it.
Id love to see the Rams cone back out with their hood ornaments; something styled from the '50s or earlier, not the simple ones you can get from the 70s or 80s.

Nice! Love the rat rods the most because they show so much originality. The old Dodge truck is pretty sweet too. There's a '50s era 5 window in my neighborhood that's ripe for a restoration.

I'd like to see how they scrub the fumes from processing. Maybe it's by simply using a carbon filter or recycled into the heat and burned over and over. It would be interesting to see it work and learn what the output was.

Define high quality of oil. Oil for cooking, cooling, lubrication, use in processing for other products? How pure is it?
I didn't read that article but I have read articles in the past about similar equipment advertising how you can take plastic trash, essentially burn it, and extract an oil...
It's just a matter of time before it happens across the spectrum of vehicles. I have no problems with it; for the majority of drivers it makes sense. For those who use a truck AS A TRUCK however, I have my doubts that the distance traveled between charges will hold up while hauling a full load...
How mechanical are you? Have you thought about building an old Jeep into a trail queen? If you're aren't worrying about getting it tagged then you have a lot of options.

Great thought.
When mine went out, I had just plugged my IPOD into the USB port to charge as I was connected to the blue tooth.
When I started the truck after work, everything seemed to work fine. I haven't connected to the blue tooth with my IPOD yet

Just had this happen to me this morning. I haven't tried the soft reset but switched to AM and back and got nothing. After work I will see what happens when I start it up. Really don't want to take it to the dealership

Anything you can do to help your motor breath better (whether it be intake or exhaust) is always beneficial. Think of it as running with your breathing restricted through a mask as opposed to unrestricted.
Cold air is denser (and dryer) so you get more oxygen per cubic foot. Now whether or not...
I saw an article suggesting a possible Dakota with the TRX package (or whatever it's called with the 700 hp motor)

Interesting article on the possibility of a new RAM Dakota. We've seen the mid size pick up slowly coming back. My thoughts: bring the Dakota back with an electric powered option. It would be a good platform to bring both in...
