    Moving on from 2019 Limited.

Well add that to the category of Today I learned! Appreciate you clearing that up for me.

    Moving on from 2019 Limited.

I have a 2018 Volkswagen Golf R that’s stage 1 tuned and is a ton of fun to drive and gets 27mpg so I’m going to stick with this, and rent a truck at Uhaul whenever I need one. Also I may have confused the tank gallon - I will say I’ve only ever been able to put 22.98 gallons into the tank on...

    Moving on from 2019 Limited.

Shimmy has been fixed. I couldn't sell the truck with the Shimmy still present. Thankfully, the new owner is getting a nice truck that will hopefully have the kinks worked out. I never had any issues with the 12'' screen other than the Dealer repeatedly telling me there was no software...

    Moving on from 2019 Limited.

I purchased my 2019 Limited black on black w/tow package in Nov 2018 as I was coming back from overseas. Thankfully, a life long family friend of my parents who owns the dealership gave me a screaming deal so I wired the cash sight unseen. Now with 28,6XX miles on the truck - I thought I...

Air Ride with DAYSTAR and REVEL Links!

Bumping this thread with an update: 4500 miles of driving since installing. Besides having to retorque the sway bar links, no issues. No clunks, no shimmy’s (as a result of the level) and no issues. I’ve taken it off-roading twice. Never gotten an air ride error, nothing. It’s been rock solid...

    Slight vibration

No issues. I installed it myself. There’s a whole thread about it in the suspension section that I’d link but I am on mobile. I think it’s the air-ride level thread. I posted photos in there of my install and things to look out for. Part numbers are included in that thread as well. I’ll go...

    Slight vibration

Just went out to my truck and had my SO raise and lower the truck while I was underneath to see if I had any noises. Nothing except the compressor. For your knowledge, 2019 Limited with Daystar Level and Links with stock wheels, stock control arms, and 305/60/20 K02s. Edit: to be clear, I...

    Slight vibration

I had the same nasty shimmy above 60mph. Truck has 28k miles on it sitting on K02s with less than 10k miles on them and somehow in the last two months I developed a nasty shimmy. Took it to a performance shop I take my other vehicle to and they road force balanced the wheels and found two of...

Dealership employees use my personal vehicle for business/joy ride

Yeah I have never had a good experience at a Ram dealer. Ive been there three times for warranty work and every time I've left annoyed, or generally displeased with the quality of service received. I will be trading my Ram in this year and going with a German brand. Never had a bad experience...

    Tow on or off ?

Towed from Texas to South Carolina using it the whole way and no issues to report. Plus - the truck accelerates with a trailer so much better when in tow mode because it holds the gear.

    Loss of audio sound

Oh yeah. Their get out of jail free card. RamCares - want to shed light on when this magical all healing software update is coming? Or should we just bring our trucks into the dealership for them to tell us again the update is coming.

Help a mechanical dummy with choosing the right truck

I have towed up to 8k-ish pounds with my limited with air suspension. It levels out completely and tows like a dream with the 3.21. Your rear end will sag with 5k+ lbs. You will love the adjustability of the air suspension, and how it rides and tows. Absolutely go for the air suspension. The...

Tire and Wheel Swap on a 1500 Limited With Off-Road Package

You should really go back and edit your posts. I have a limited. And I have run 18s no issue for about 3k miles before going back to 20s. You have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about.

    Need help breaking the rules.

I moved almost 4,000lbs pounds of gym equipment in a 6x12 Uhaul with a ramp over three states and it was no issue at all. I think Uhaul puts a really low stated max weight. You should be able to load all that tile into a 6x12 utility with ramp no problem and do it in 1 trip.

    40,000 trucks free miles

26k miles. One issue with a trip to the dealer which I would say is better than the other cars I’ve owned (BMWs)

    Air Suspension with 35s

There are numerous threads on this exact subject. No. You cannot fit 35s without major surgery to the fender liners and even then, you’re not going to fit them well. Daystar level with Revel links for $250 installed yourself in an afternoon and you’ll be able to fit 35s. Many members have...

Air Ride with DAYSTAR and REVEL Links!

This is great advice. I went to 60mm on the front and it’s level to a millimeter front to rear from my rudimentary measuring. Thanks Samson

Air Ride with DAYSTAR and REVEL Links!

Even if you didn’t cut the threads, I don’t think the thicker base would protrude last the spacer - but maybe. I think there were only 2-3 threads left exposed on the stock stud without trimming.

Air Ride with DAYSTAR and REVEL Links!

I don’t see why you would need to. There shouldn’t be much lateral force on the studs to begin with so if they aren’t sitting flush it shouldn’t be an issue. Torqued properly, the strut is held up by a lot more than just those three small nuts. And the strut itself rests on the spacer. Not the...

Air Ride with DAYSTAR and REVEL Links!

I suppose I'll add some pictures of my experience here, to include working with Revel Performance and their customer service (in short: FANTASTIC). I'm a shade tree mechanic. I have the typical harbor freight Pittsburgh mechanic tool set, some nice 18V impacts, an angle driver, and some...
