Has anyone noticed connectivity issues with the latest iOS update? My car play was working better than ever for the las 3-4 weeks. Always connected, picked up Amazon music from where it left off after shutting truck down. This morning I plug the phone in and the truck does not pick up car play...
They can’t under warranty because then the truck is out of spec. I asked when mine cracked. Though my replacement has lasted almost 2 years so I think they got the fix right. There was an issue of the wrong kind of adhesive being used that dried too stiffly which led to cracks at the weak point...
I’m just going from a guy that I’ve trusted for years telling me what his friend from magna said. It wouldnt surprise me that Stellantis and their contractors don’t work in perfect sync with each other. Probably easy just to say ‘use whatever glue we have’ ….what could go wrong with bad glue? :)...
So here’s something interesting from the horses mouth re: our cracked window issues. I met with a client of mine who recently bought a ram. I warned him to watch out for the rear window issue. He mentioned it to his friend who works for Magna in Holland Michigan where the rear windows are made...
Try putting leather conditioner on It might soften it up a bit and hide at least some of the damage. The oils from your hands and regular use will probably wear it down a bit to be less obvious

Winter blend fuel is worse for fuel economy. Summer blend should add 1 to 2 mpg at minimum. I see a 3 mpg difference between the 2

No. When in gear and not moving use the -/+ button on the right side of the steering wheel. I usually tap - once then ‘+’ 8x until you see 8 on the display (lower right of screen). You have to do it every time you start truck and need to be in drive but not moving. I guess you can be crawling...
Yep the tow mode would disable it or you can disable it manually without the tow mode. Weird that you get the vibrations. What speeds/rpm’s?

Bet you a buck your tires/wheels are out of balance. Also if you have snow or ice built up on or in the wheel that will vibrate them a bit. Take to a tire shop and have them balanced. Or dealer too I guess since it’s so new
If it switches into eco mode while driving that could also give you a...
If it’s rubbing paint bring it back. They can adjust it a bit. For all the new rams the gap on the right side is narrower than the left by a 1/16th or so. And yes the sorta require a firm thump to close so that the bed light and warning light shut off. As they break in it gets easier, but that...
You should be able to ask them to show you the signs of outside influences, like rock scrapes, etc. and they should certainly be able to show these influences if they saw them and made the decision they made

Did you by any chance do something rough to the truck in the days/weeks leading up to the blow out? I would ask the dealer to tell you specifically what they saw that makes them think it wasn’t a defect. Tell them your property casualty guy was asking for the reason. They must see or believe...
Your car insurance will laugh at you. What did @RamCares say? Time to heed the advice of others and go down the path of lemon law claim. One letter from the atty will probably do the trick

It shouldn’t be the dealers decision to refuse it. I bet they didn’t even call fca. Hopefully @RamCares steps in asap

What about taking to another dealer? Dealer gets paid for the repair by fca. No reason they should refuse the business
