Do you mind sharing the dealer's information? TIA

Who here is NOT happy with their e-Torque system?

Did it drive better with your last reflash?

Who here is NOT happy with their e-Torque system?

Have you tried driving in ERS mode?

Who here is NOT happy with their e-Torque system?

I suggest that you get your dealer to reflash the transmission and hopefully it'll get a lot better

Who here is NOT happy with their e-Torque system?

My truck was behaving same way until the dealer reflashed TCM (transmission module) last week. The truck is driving much smoother and it's very responsive/predictable. I hope that this info helps.

Who here is NOT happy with their e-Torque system?

While I agree that it probably doesn't shut off the etorque but there is absolutely no regenerative braking or the delayed acceleration from a stoplight while driving in the ERS mode. Honestly my wife's BMW X5 has a similar setup but it's so much better.

Who here is NOT happy with their e-Torque system?

It's definitely the etorque. Try driving your truck in ERS mode and ask this BS will be solved.

Who here is NOT happy with their e-Torque system?

Drive your truck in ERS mode and defeat this stupid etorque and MDS completely.

    Common Issues and Air Conditioning

A/C in a 22 Ram 1500 is good but not the best IMO especially here in Houston summer days. There's also an annoying consistent AC condensation at bottom of the windshield.

Loss of Power after Auto Start/Stop

Even with the start/stop off I have noticed that there is a slight power hesitation from a complete stop. It's like a puff and then go.

eTorque vs non-eTorque? Purchased a Flame Red Night Edition to replace my 19 Laramie Night Edition.

I do own a 2022 Longhorn with 5.7 etorque and the start stop system is not good at all. There's always a delay getting the truck to move from a complete stop. Even with the system disabled it seems that there is a puff and then go with the new etorque. My dealer does agree that the delay is...

    Rear Cargo/Bed Camera

I don't think that any 1500s have a bed camera.

    New to Etorque

My 2019 was a non etorque hemi. It did feel a lot smoother than my 2022 etorque

Stay with your 2019. 2022 & up Ram 1500 etorque is wonky. I wish that I still had my 2019.

Who here is NOT happy with their e-Torque system?

I honestly do not see any savings with the e torque since my 22 Ram fuel economy isn't any better compared to my 19 Ram without e torque. I wouldn't pay a premium on this system hence Ram is not giving an option on MY23 onwards IMO

Who here is NOT happy with their e-Torque system?

I did take it to a dealer. They had performed a TSB which seemed to make it worst.

Who here is NOT happy with their e-Torque system?

I agree. I wish that there was a way to completely disengage the etorque system.

Who here is NOT happy with their e-Torque system?

I miss my first truck (2019 5th gen non torque). Hate my 2022 Longhorn with e-torture system. I do have a buyers remorse with this $75k truck since the regenerative braking is anything but smooth. It feels very sticky and unpredictable.
