You can do engineering work, but your not a licensed engineer. Just as in land surveying. You can survey, but your not a licensed surveyor. So when somebody tells you they're a engineer / land surveyor just ask for their license number! But remember, some of the best in industry are not licensed...
I bought a cheap one. Worked ok. Had oil residue in outlet hose. Also had a EVAP code from time to time. I then bought the Mishimoto can. Much better and caught more moisture based oil in the winter months. Didn't care for the price.. but it seems like a better filtration system

I'm bringing my truck in on October 4th. Will report back. Hope it isn't the rear main seal. I've ruled out the oil sensor or residual oil from filter or spilt oil while filling.
