Rough Country or Readylift 3.5" lift

Anyone who did go with the RL 3.5" have terrible issues with bouncing? I feel like I am on a boat, floating, then hit a bump and the front end bobs up and down a few times and the rear does the same. I've had lifts before so I expected some stiffening but this is a lot worse then I have...

Grinding noise when turning to the right

My truck is due for an oil change. I am so glad I found this forum and this thread. Gonna have this applied, rear diff fluid switched out, and oil changed. In preparation for my new lift/wheel setup. All of y'all are awesome!

    Leaking rear slider

It's the use of the rear sliding window. There is not enough tolerance between the frame and the window itself. When you use the window, it will cause stress fractures in the plastic and eventually will crack. It's a QC problem with the manufacturer of the rear windows.

    Starting/stopping driveline stutter

I have had this issue since day 1. It's been in three times and I even had the service manager (head guy) ride in the truck with me. He acknowledged the bump but told me it is a characteristic of the 8 speed transmission. The 9 speed in the Pacifica is worse. He had them check for the TCM update...

    2020 AC performance

It's not that we want arthritis inducing freezers. It's that we want a system that can handle the environment that we live in. The second our truck shuts off, we open a window, open a door, or pull up to a stop light, we lose our ability to keep the vehicle comfortable. Keeping the truck "in the...

Anyone who has done a muffler delete and left resonators, how do you like it?

If you kept the resos, easiest fix is a bit of high temp silicon on the weep holes (4 per can) and viola. Exhaust leak noise fixed. I put on a $40 Thrush Welded Performance muffler and plugged the weep holes with high temp silicon. My systems sound is identical to everyone spending $$$ on high...

    Air conditioning Hack

So no resolutions from Ram still. After the hack worked for me I checked out. It's been months but really sad to see we are still exactly where I left off. The good news is my AC is killer with the hack.

The DT Achilles Heel (If your having problems read this)

Status Post a few months. I haven't had a single issue with my truck since the repair of the ground. No UConnect issues, no trans bump, no hard down shifts, fuel milage has increased. Ive driven it roughly 2500 miles and it is keepin on trucking.

The DT Achilles Heel (If your having problems read this)

Unfortunately I do not as it was unexpected and I was out of town for a conference. GA2 is the main ground wire location for the battery and where the ground for the PCM meet. I imagine it's the ground on the fender just above the battery.

Yes. All covered under warranty. About two hours to fix.

The DT Achilles Heel (If your having problems read this)

Here I thought I was gonna help a lot of people out. LOL. At least it sounded good. But none the less There I was and thought I was coming to save they day. It's pretty sad that a single cable can bring a $60k truck to it's knees. Thank you for your info! At least it may help someone out...

The DT Achilles Heel (If your having problems read this)

Yes they did. But if you read more into the problem, this addresses more the just the power steering based on the codes that are were flagged. That's why I am posting. This fixed...for me anyway, more then just the loss of PS.

The DT Achilles Heel (If your having problems read this)

04/2018. I live in Fort Myers, Florida. The truck was bought in Venice, FL. I bought it used with 3k miles on the odo.

The DT Achilles Heel (If your having problems read this)

Ok, this is a long post. But based on what I experienced I feel this would be able to help someone, somewhere. Since I bought the truck in May, I've had AC issues, the mysterious "bump" coming from the transmission/rear end, hard 5-4 and 2-1 downshifts, ANC noises, and UConnect going...

    Power Steering Fault AFTER recall

It was a different ground connection that wasn't included in the recall. Based on what happened, the codes that popped up, and what the tech told me directly. I think I found the problem with so many of the trucks. The Achilles heal. According to the tech. My main ground connection known as...

    Power Steering Fault AFTER recall

This is not related to the steering not returning to center TSB. This is directly associated with the complaints received that prompted the recall for the ground cable. This morning while out of town, I went to move my truck in the parking lot closer to the hotel entrance. I started if up and...

    Air conditioning Hack

Mine is closed all the way and stays closed. It gets so cold now that the airflow coming from the drivers left starts to numb my hands.

Went in for second oil change with 10K miles. Getting a new transmission.

Any updates on this? Are you able to share the STAR case # so when I take the truck in for repair, I have all my geese in a row?

    Air conditioning Hack

It may be for your specific build date. Following to see if there is a recall/TSB indeed out there. But a bolt which caused all of the refrigerant to leak out would mean the AC system would stop blowing cold completely, not just on humid/hot days.

AC - does anyone have a truck that blows ice cold?

Before the mod, the coldest ever temperature I recorded was 52 degrees out of my driver's side vent. This was after the truck was on and running for 45 minutes, the temp outside for this test was 91 degrees. After the mod, I achieve temps in the 40s as the picture shows within 5 minutes of...
