Morning all, hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. My driver's side headlamp has a problem and the halo lighting around the perimeter does not light up. I am thinking of buying the assembly and doing the work my self, but not sure how difficult that is. Has anyone done this...
I wanted to turn off the audio but still have the screen on for climate controls, but can't figure out how to do this. What am I missing? #ifeelstoopidfornotknowing
I plan on keeping mine until the extended warranty runs out at a minimum, so the small price for the catch can seems like a no-brainer. No issues with the dealer when there for routine service intervals.
The MDH on my truck is 051812, so I think my truck qualifies for the service bulletin for reprogramming the TCM with the latest software update. This latest version is "supposed" to contain an auto-start improvement, along with reducing the clunkiness of downshifts when coasting at slow speeds...
My experience over the first 9,000 miles of my ownership is that the stop/start is, most definitely, NOT seamless. There's a definite shudder when the engine cuts off (sometimes it's less noticeable than other times, but ALWAYS noticeable), and there's a slight-but-definite lag in the throttle...
Here’s what I dumped from my Mishimoto can today after driving 1,855 miles. Installed at 7,048 miles and now at 8,903 miles. Just under 2 ounces of what looked like oil only, can’t see any water separation...

Care to show how you have yours set up with this? Honestly, it's not hard to unscrew the catch can from the base to dump it out. I bought Mishimoto's valve and hosing for the bottom of the can, but not sure if I'm going to install it or not...
Just finished the install. The hoses worked just fine. No issues. Easy install. The video on the Mishimoto website helped a lot.
7,048 miles is mileage at install.
