That is awesome! Great idea - I was just going to remove mine and leave the hole. As a driver I have never had this happen but multiple passengers have been bitten by this
My dealer has my truck right now for a front end clunk they determined was the driver side ball joint "a little loose". They have to replace the lower control arm to fix it - just for information :-)
I have a large amount coming out of the top of the side vents when on foot only. I assume to window defrost - so much that it is uncomfortable and makes it feel much colder than usual, and requires a different heat setting. I am not happy about this - I will see what the dealership says, maybe...
I noticed this the other day also. It was a bit damp out, and the AC cycled on a few times. I could feel the air get (significantly) colder and then return to ambient/expected temperature intermittently. I had the truck set to blow on the vent setting, 70 degrees for both driver and passenger...
I use Waze all the time, and have not seen this, sorry. I am also on IOS 13 beta 2.
On a side note and curiosity, why do you like waze more w/o carplay and google maps w/carplay?
It seems like maybe they have never used any other car with an "auto" climate control setting? I wonder if all FCA cars behave the same, but I agree, it does suck. I have disabled auto because of this issue...
Are your weather alerts from the area you are in, or up to 50 miles or so away? I live in NH, and get alerts from Connecticut to Maine... but never for NH where I am
I went in and mentioned the star cases. The service advisor indicated this is what they feel like they need to do. Hard to argue for them to do less when they are going to do that much work *shrug*
@RamCares - should I be concerned? They aren't starting until 11/5.
I just got off the call with my service department - they are going to schedule keeping the truck for up to a week, while they take the cab off to look for bad welds and check everything. I haven't decided if I want to mention the star cases or just let them go through it all...
I am reading all 31! pages of this thread; My limited build of 7/18 started the clunk yesterday, very infrequently... I am going to try and get it reproducible by the time I go in on the 16th for my leaking axle seal.
