As far as I am aware there is no manual override, but it is designed to take a hit. If something hits it when it is down it will not break it because of it.

Yeah when installed my led strips, the truck did not like them being hooked up to the stock cargo light wiring. Kept turning the light off as soon as I hooked them up to it. So I ended up installing a relay with the stock cargo light wire as the trigger, just ran a wire straight to the battery.

Wow I havent seen that in the manual. Why in the heck would you need the nav at 15? I always set mine to 1 and with the way the stereo mutes the drivers speaker when the nav speaks its plenty loud.

I disabled it by de-pinning the microphone wires at the plug on the amp under the drivers seat. The first eight wires (brown and orange) on the left side of this plug, minus the thick red one. Do this at your own risk lol I am not responsible for any damages.
