    26 Gallon to 33 Gallon Fuel/Gas tank

I’m surprised no one has gone aftermarket. This company offers a 52 gallon tank http://titanfueltanks.com/products/xxl-replacement-tanks/dodge-crew-cab-short-bed-7030113

    Stuttering under slight acceleration?

It could be the displacement on demand if the cylinder reduction is active. Generally if you give it more throttle, it kicks in the other cylinders, but it does feel as if its stumbling a bit if youre using light throttle.

    What Fuel is everyone using?

While in this specific case, I do believe 91 benefits our vehicles, running octane higher than needed WILL reduce performance... the main purpose of higher octane is to slow down the combustion process, which allows for more timing to be used (or in the case of boosted vehicles, more boost...

    What Fuel is everyone using?

Youre correct on some parts, however your sample is also based solely on, as you said, 10% ethanol. The higher blends are where the issues come in. Before you reply with anything negative, keep in mind, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Ethanol, and would run it on every vehicle if I could, however when...

    What Fuel is everyone using?

How many data logs have you looked at to see what timing is doing in the vehicle on each octane?

    What Fuel is everyone using?

Oh and to answer the thread, I run 91. Costco here is about 50 cents a gallon cheaper than local pumps, and they only have 87 or 91 ($1.35 and $1.85 a gallon when I filled up sunday), so I just run the 91.

    What Fuel is everyone using?

There is a caveat to what he stated... ethanol is alcohol, and alcohol is fantastic for the cleaning of components... HOWEVER, for vehicles not designed for it, it can be dangerous to use as it can destroy rubber lines, aluminum components not properly treated for alcohol, and it is hygroscopic...

    What Fuel is everyone using?

That’s not true at all. Almost all newer vehicles rely on their knock sensors to control timing, and the more octane (within reason) you run, the more timing the computer allows, which gives you more power. There really won’t Be any benefit seen past 91-93 octane, but most definitely a...

Trip # WAY TO MANY to the Dealer for repairs.

A leak is something that actually requires a repair... that really isn’t comparable to brakes that only squeak for the first 30 seconds of driving, and does so on many other vehicles.

Trip # WAY TO MANY to the Dealer for repairs.

Its in the shop for non mechanical related concerns... thats your doing, not theirs. Im not going to defend Ram because in my opinion, all domestic products are garbage, however My Ram has been pretty perfect for the year ive owned it, and I bought it because it was significantly better than the...

Which thickness wheel spacers for factory 22s?

The guys with 2 inch stick out pretty far... what research I've done so far says I need 1 inch to be flush, but front and rear aren't the same apparently either so they may not match perfectly. I kinda lost interest in dropping $200 to guess and will wait until someone else does it first :)

Which thickness wheel spacers for factory 22s?

I have a 19 ram black edition with the factory 22s and did the 2 inch lower in the back, just wanting the wheels flush with the fenders. It’s a lease so I don’t want new wheels/tires, and hoping to get the spacers with studs so I don’t have to install longer wheel studs, but can’t seem to find...

Front Sensors going off in reverse when towing?

It could be the angle at which the sensors are aiming due to the load on the back of the truck changing the driving angle. Does your truck sag a lot in the back when towing ? I did a rear level kit on my truck and my issue is even a curb 4 feet away makes the truck lock the brakes up for impact...

    Air conditioning performance

For what it’s worth, a/c Alex is generally 40 degrees below ambient temperature... by the book if it’s 90 out and your ac hits 50 degrees, it’s “working fine”. In Phoenix where 110-120 is the July norm, be thankful if it’s around 50 or so. Ford had a big problem with this in 2004-2008 on the...

2019 RAM 2nd year Registration Fee (CA)

$70 a year flat in New Mexico I lived in Arizona prior to this and Phoenix would be $600-700 a year on newer expensive vehicles as it goes by msrp/vehicle value... however at least in Phoenix, we have the nicest roads and freeways in the country... California just wastes your money on social...

Has anyone installed a Whipple on a 2019 Ram yet?

Boost has nothing to do with a strong built bottom end, or internal strength. Detonation can nuke a forged piston just as fast as a cast piston, and same goes for rods and such. Proper tuning and fuel is the key to an engine living long... plenty of people making 900+ on stock bottom end ls1s...

Has anyone installed a Whipple on a 2019 Ram yet?

There are multiple ways to get a vehicle to safely handle more boost, but with also being new to these vehicles (I’m a gm and ford tuner), I don’t know what the limiting factor was in that power level. If it was knock/detonation, the only solution is octane to achieve more power... unlikely but...

Has anyone installed a Whipple on a 2019 Ram yet?

Boost is only a measurement of restriction... it has absolutely zero meaning or reference with regards to power. Plenty of cars on 7 lbs of boost make more power than other cars running 20 lbs of boost, or more. In addition, wheel horsepower isn’t something you can compare apples to apples, as...

Has anyone installed a Whipple on a 2019 Ram yet?

The truck won't be "maxed out" as youre comparing apples and oranges (that is, if you aren't just trolling the forum). The base Mustang kit doesn't make 750 WHP, and as you can see here, no one has installed a Whipple kit into a Ram yet even in base form, let alone tried tuning it for max...
