I rarely use my slider. If it cracks Im more than happy to take a solid window or a new design that wont crack. This is the Mopar backlite. Plastic and glass just dont expand and contract at the same rate so we get cracks in the plastic.
Factory clear coat is very thin. Only a few mils thick. Think about a sheet or two of paper. Less clear is less UV protection. Cut that clear off and your paint will fail prematurely. I've seen Ferraris with terrible orange peel. When we paint high end paint jobs with mirror flat finishes it...
They hand out drivers licenses like candy on Halloween. Yes pull over and stop on surface streets when safe to do so. Not on a freeway with no emergency lanes. They should know to at least get out of the way. Sure you can slow down but don't impede the emergency vehicles by stopping.
There is a range on those road force balancers. I ask for photos of the resulting data after they have been balanced. Ive seen wheel/tire combos within "range" but still vibrate. Ive also seen many tires that are brand new and need far too much weight to balance out.

An alignment shop could set it up properly. They can give you a before and after print out. The alignment machine should have the specs in the software.
The bare minimum is move or protect the horn wires. This prevents them from disabling the factory horn. Add a horn on a pin switch if they open the hood a siren sounds. Some sort of kill switch. Lock the steering wheel at an angle with a bike lock type cable. Disable the factory e-brake release...
Its hardly far fetched. Todays car thieves have the internet and multiple options to steal vehicles. this video shows how fast they steal your truck with no noise.
I've disconnected my brake switch for temporary security. If you try to start the truck you will throw codes and need to clear them before starting. The key is remembering to plug it back in before starting.
