Pair the MX+ to the Galaxy.
Plug MX+ into factory OBD port (you can leave the ignition off for all of this).
Open alfaobd, go to settings, and under data exchange, check the box for Do Not Verify ECU Model.
Back on main screen click Bluetooth symbol at top left, and choose the MX+ (you might...
Did you make any changes with alfaobd?
If you can check out the thread I linked below, and send me the configuration and proxi backup for your truck, I can try to identify which data bite is going to need to be changed. Mine is a big horn with the 7” cluster, yours is one with a 3.5”, and I’m...
Yeah, now that we know we can get alfaobd to work on these 2025+, I’m trying to filter through all the settings so I know which ones make what features work, like passive entry, digital cluster, 14” screen, passenger screen, premium headlights/tail lights with animated lights, etc.
Thanks for replying. I didn’t realize the rebel didn’t have passive entry, so I guess I don’t need anything from a rebel.
So far, I received the logs for a Laramie with passive entry, and no passenger screen or digital key.
Now, I pretty much just need anyone with a passenger screen.
I’m looking for any of you 25/26 owners following this thread that already have alfaobd. What I need is some logs, with instructions posted in the linked thread here below.
I just grabbed a 25 bighorn, and I’m set to start figuring out installing passive entry, 14” screen, passenger screen...
I’m looking for a few specific 25/26 owners that have AlfaOBD:
1) Someone with a Laramie or rebel without a passenger screen, and without digital key cards.
2) Someone with a Laramie or rebel with a passenger screen.
3) Someone with any Limited, Tungsten, or RHO.
What I need is the proxi backup...
Now we’re talking about two different diagnostic software platforms. CDA6 (Chrysler Diagnostic Application) is the engineering software that stellantis engineering uses for testing, diagnosing, configuring, and coding manipulation on modules. Even among the stellantis employees that have login...
Here’s the bottom line:
All of the tools, service manuals, procedures, etc are available to ANYBODY so that they can diagnose and repair their own vehicle back to the way it functioned before it broke.
If you want to change the features or modify the vehicle to a different state than when you...
If it wasn’t for the existence of alfaobd and JScan, who have modeled their apps from pirated proprietary engineering software (to include other manufacturers like forscan for ford, etc), it wouldn’t even be possible to make configuration changes to your vehicle at all.
Without those apps, if...
It’s not for three days. You are confusing autoauth with tech authority. Two different subscriptions for two different things.
Autoauth is $50 a year, and you can register up to 5 tools to it, and unlock the gateway on unlimited VINs.
That’s the last I heard from Alexi at alfaobd- he said he was trying to figure out a static gateway unlock to do through alfaobd before he officially adds the 2025 Ram 1500 to alfaobd.
It’s become obvious that’s not going to be possible.
I’ll see if he’ll give up on that, and just put all of...
They are not blocking your ability to diagnose and repair your vehicle. Remember, what we’re doing falls beyond the scope of repairing our vehicles, to modifying the configurations in the modules.
I see that the RLink j2534 has the alfaobd file so you can connect alfaobd with it. Have you tried running the Proxi alignment through it with alfaobd yet, to see if it’ll be successful being that the RLink is CAN-FD?
Yes, the drive modes will work with that tcm flash.
Here’s your current tcm file, in case you need to flash back to it:
