CERAKOTE[emoji2400] Ceramic Trim Coat Kit -... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SHJVK4G?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I’m over a year from using the Cerakote wipes on all my black plastic bits and it all still looks as “wet” and nice as the day I applied it. And that’s with automatic car washes at least 2x/month.
Applied it at the beginning of last summer.
Glad to be done with trim dressings that last a...
Indeed, You do have to spend a boat load of money to live like a hobo for a few days lol.
I always love to tell coworkers and friends that drive around with all their kit mounted on their truck 24/7 “looks like you’re about to go camping / off road any day now…”
All in good fun. It’s pretty...
That’s the size leap I made on my truck a good while back and I noticed no statistical or observable change in mpg, and I track every fuel up in Fuelly, and recalibrate my speedo for each tire size dead nuts accurate with GPS.
The 275’s were DuraTracs (aggressive tread) and the 295s were...
Yup, appears to be a Big Horn given the default cloth seats.
But they add the Laramie/ Limited sport hood evidently.
Looks like 3 year warranty.
I think I’d gamble with a DIY route if I had the 10 year warranty on a 2026.
Nice to see Suspension is addressed too.
Oddly they call out rear...
The EcoBoosts are far from perfect, but what you said has simply and literally never been one of their issues.
Yes, Toyota has had widespread trouble with main bearing failure on their Tundras. But that doesn’t indict all motors of similar design philosophy.
Let’s at least try to deal with...
Spacers could be ok if a) you stay on road and b) do not have progressive rate coils.
And by ok, I mean just ok.
They do preserve the stock ride quality better - on smooth surfaces, anyway - but whether or not that is a good thing is an opinion that obviously varies widely.
If the...
If consider the money saved by not buying a new one as “the warranty” mechanism. You can likely afford a lot of repairs for the amount you’d have to come out of pocket on a new one.
If it’s been reliable and enjoyable otherwise, that’s where I’d place my chips.
They’re good when done like Ram did, actually freeing up traditional shifter space for storage etc.
A lot of others just slap a dial where a lever once was with no practical benefit.
Whether lever or dial, they are all just sending electronic signals to a computer about gear selection you are...
Folks forget that the biggest restriction in the air intake system is the throttle body and its pesky little flap that is hardly ever open 100%.
Ultimately that is what controls or limits airflow, at the direction of the ECM.
No need for a filter that flows more air of the ECM never calls...
That’s probably really good you chimed in Terry. Because the OP’s wording and/or my reading comprehension definitely made it sound like the melty cat issues were specifically due to running the Jb4.
And while I don’t follow every Hurricane thread on the internet, I hadn’t seen talk of melted...
There is so much conflicting info on this, I am not sure.
Not saying this is wrong or anything at all, just that I don’t know.
Shock Surplus says they are valved identically (digressive), and the only difference is the reservoir.
Eibach has told forum members here what you said above...
I used to be a short, stocky bald man that my wife’s boyfriend constantly made fun of.
After I began using Top Truck I am 6 feet tall and have 2 wives.
Thanks Top Truck! [emoji106]
Eibachs intentionally cater to on road comfort more than to off road performance.
Handling / control still exceeds oem too.
Great for posers like me and I’ve no complaints in mine on a different platform.
That said I have heard there are ride quality differences between the Eibach coil...
I live in a front plate state (CO) but have been running without one for many years now.
On one car it blocks the intercooler, and on another it just looks stupid.
Never been pulled over or talked to for it.
I figure they have bigger fish to fry.
Lower RPMs means less gas burned by the engine…
… Is a true statement for naturally aspirated engines.
With turbocharging it goes out the window a bit unfortunately for a few reasons.
ECM strategy will call for a rich fuel trim under high load / low rpm scenarios for a couple reasons...
Congrats!
How’s the audio? That’s the most compelling thing in my mind of the Tungsten over the Limited. I know lots of variances, but for me, most compelling.
Seats sure do look cozy though…
Honestly, I’m impressed the Tungsten carries a 4-figure payload, and not just barely either. Bravo!
Wonder what the full weight of Hemi + eTorque was? Quite a pig.
