So I am currently running a 2.5" spacer up front and 1.5" in back (not installed in the photo). Also running TRX 35s. But I got 160k so the shocks are worn out and running rough.

I don't really off road, but if I do, it's all low speed. I am really looking for something centered around ride quality. I was looking at carli commuter, icon stage 3, or eibach stage 2r.

The thing that worries me is the carli and icon really don't have enough lift for the 35s. The eibach has the lift but haven't heard much about it and it's ride quality.

Looking for input....budget is $2500 and already have UCAs

Eibachs intentionally cater to on road comfort more than to off road performance.

Handling / control still exceeds oem too.

Great for posers like me and I’ve no complaints in mine on a different platform.

That said I have heard there are ride quality differences between the Eibach coil overs vs the struts that re-use your springs.

Eibach Stage 2 is my next set of springs to keep my 3/2 lift. You don't need the 2R, there's no point if you're not running the shocks hard off-road.

With the Eibach's, do the rear springs provide 1" of lift on Rebels or non-rebel models

The rear 2Rs are Linear valved and the regular rears are Digressive valved, so pick which you prefer.

Linear = slight smoother ride
Digressive = slight better handling

They don't even list the 2R for the RAM anymore on their site, for either Rebel or non-Rebel. Or at least I'm just too dumb to find it.

Very interesting, you are correct!

Eibach is coming out with 2.5" non-res struts & shocks very soon, maybe that is why they've pulled the 2Rs(??)..strange though🤷‍♂️

There is so much conflicting info on this, I am not sure.

Not saying this is wrong or anything at all, just that I don’t know.

Shock Surplus says they are valved identically (digressive), and the only difference is the reservoir.

Eibach has told forum members here what you said above.

And when I bought my set, Eibach told me directly that the non-resi shocks are “digressively valved with a linear shim stack…”

… whatever the heck that means. My understanding was the valving is simply a product of the shim stack??!!

The other part that confuses me is that there are no variations on the front coilovers today. And so it seems odd to me that Eibach would willingly pair a rear shock with a different valving.

My guess is that any variations are so slight that nobody could actually perceive a difference anyway.

Just a head scratcher is all.

I spoke with Tanner right before I ordered the Fox PEs..I thought if Eibach would be making 2.5 Res shocks this as rumors said I'd wait and see..but he confirmed 2.5s will be coming, but non-Res to keep costs lower.
There is a definite valve difference, but you are correct, they do it will valve stacking..so a hybrid of sorts, and probably somewhat minimal therefore.
I'm interested to see how Eibach's 2.5 look and perform when they come out.
I'd REALLY like to see Bilstein build their new 8112 Res w/ "3"-way Adjusters come out for DT Rams!

looks like you're gonna be just fine with Carli Commuter.
I'd stay away from Icon though... the most recent issue I got with Icon is... customer brought in brand new icons and I smelled shock oil when I opened the box. And there they were, shock oil leaking, brand new unused.
I call it Icon's newest feature: they come pre-leaked so you don't have to deal with them leaking 6 months after they are installed lol
