    CAI intake thoughts

Have you driven it in the summer before? With temps in the 90's and my AC on the fan is pretty much constantly running unless I'm driving on the interstate.

Do i need to replace upper control arms when adding a leveling strut?

Because maybe there's no need to spend $4k on a complete new suspension system if you just want to lift it a bit.

    Leveling kit help!

As long as you went with UCA's that aren't OEM angles you'll be good. If they're for lifted applications you won't have any issues.

    4x4 service interval

I changed mine at 50k. Both diffs, transfer case. Less than $150 from AMSOIL and about an hour of your time if you know how to DIY it and don't have a lift. Getting your tools and crawling around under the truck was 30 minutes.

    Automatic Trailer Detection

As far as I know it's based off the BSM system seeing something directly behind you. So it's guessing. It regularly says my 12 foot trailer is 20-30 feet long.

    Dash cam

The tint on the windshield should go around the mirror housing, which is where everything is stored. My 80% ceramic tint doesn't affect my dash cam though.

If you've had the rear window leak...

Update on mine after about 2 months. *Knock on wood* so far so good. It's rained about 200" (at least it feels like it) here in the past 2 months. A couple storms have been 2-3" in an hour with 60mph winds type, so they've been severe. No water on the back window or under the seat.

    Dash cam

I used this to install my new VIOFO dash cam yesterday. I used F54A and B for both key on and constant power. Haven't tested the constant power to see if the parking setting works yet, but I was able to fashion a small spade connector for the constant power wire on B and connect it next to my...

    Dealer Flak !

What happens if you bought it near where you lived then moved to where are you now? Same thing. Your dealers suck.

Help me save money by spending money

    1. I use a Harbor Freight tube clamp. Tighten it up when I don't need heat, loosen it when I do. 2. Haven't used. 3. I love my PC. Typically keep it on Eco because I drive my truck 99% of the time, but when you put it in Sport it really cuts the lag out. Just don't adjust anything if the truck...

    2022 Ram 1500 RWD 6” lift?

There are easier/better ways to lift a 2WD truck without using a 4WD lift kit. Since you were looking at RC lifts: 6 Inch Lift Kit | Ram 1500 2WD (2019-2024) Edit** Looks like this kit is for 4WD trucks too, so may need some more searching.

Dash light dim with wipers on.

Like @Jake1050 said, it's an option in the Uconnect settings that you can turn on/off. But it's a good idea (and following the law) to have your lights on when it's raining. Nissan has a system where it'll dim your interior lights depending on lighting situations, and I swear that's the reason I...

Dash light dim with wipers on.

You have it set to turn on the headlights when your wipers are on, presumably because it's raining/snowing/precipitating. Safety setting, and you should keep it on so other vehicles can see you.

    RedRock bumper with amber DRL

If I'm not mistaken the accent lights on the headlight housing dim when the headlights are on. So if your 3 amber lights are connected on that signal they will also dim (assuming it just receives a lower voltage).

I am a victim of physical abuse by my Ram truck...

So mine won't screw back in . I'll have to take the door panel off to get it back in. I may 3D print one that's shorter, but I guess that won't eliminate the pinching as it goes down.

    Parking

That first sentence is the key. Pull past the spot far enough and then put whichever rear tire is on the side you're backing into where you want it to go. Then just make sure you don't hit anything on the other side or in front when you swing around. I swear my backup camera is ever so slightly...

    ORP lift question.

Rebel has the 1" factory lift as well. This is mine with an overall 3" front, 2" rear with 295/70R18 tires. 1" of rake. It's 2" spacers in the front with RC UCA's and Timber Grove bags in the back (added some lift with lowest PSI in them). Yeah, yeah, spacers are cheap. They work for what I do...

    Aftermarket rear replacement bumper revisited

So basically if you have your truck locked and try to open the tailgate with the keys in your pocket it should stay locked. My truck will allow me to open the tailgate without unlocking the whole truck because I have that sensor.

Rear brakes at 99,000km (62,000 miles)

Oh yeah, forgot you bought a kit. My link was just for the rotors.
