I can’t get anywhere by hitting the forums tab on the homepage. My phone is in forums, but I had to reopen my pc, and the forums tab seems dead. Any word when that link might be restored again?
They look the same, but the angle has been shifted a few degrees. I'm not sure somebody could see that with the untrained eye.
(I'm a toolmaker, who has to see stuff like this 😄 )
Yes, it is too limiting to only look for air shocks when the ucas are the same across the board. The Mopar lift isn’t computer listed compatible for your truck because it uses springs instead of the air shocks. It’s generally accepted knowledge that the ucas are needed to allow for the higher...
I would look in the wheel sticky thread at what the offset is for the oem 18”s. Or call a wheel shop that you want to use and ask what offset they have used on DTs. You shouldn’t be having this much trouble unless you’re trying to go to a very wide tire on a large backspace wheel.
Looks like a female moose to me. They eat pond seaweed. I think caribou eat land greenery. A caribou doesn't have such a saddle back either. Over 97% of female caribou would also be growing antlers by August. Caribou tend to stay in land roaming packs, where moose tend to be more solitary. And...
Plenty of threads on this subject in the Tires subforum. Yes, you can run this size without rubbing. A General ATX is the only C range tire, all the rest will be E range, riding rougher and losing mpg.
Keep in mind that the P tire he listed is rated for 2756 lbs, times 2 is 5512 lbs, on an axle rated for 4100 lbs., jus sayin'. I myself have E rated, mainly because that's the only thing available in my size, and like them towing, but it certainly isn't necessary.
The MS2 should be just an incremental improvement; I don't see the side grooves making any real noticeable difference in dirt/snow. That said, I have the regular LTX (18" E) and they wear well and work good in the rain, so much so that I don't consider driving different (pull out in traffic) and...
One outside shoulder is blocked off for water exit. Ran into this problem with the OEM Falkens when worn halfway, too. The Conti HT's have 2 sides blocked, but both are fixable with my tire groover, the Conti being less noticeable when done.
I was able to gently stretch the OEM blanket over the bigger battery, but you do have to be very gentle. If you find a source for the larger blanket, please post up. 2500/3500?
Well, usually...

Seriously tho, if you ever load up and want to see the numbers, you can have 4100lbs on the rear axle, 7100lbs on the whole truck, and 17k lbs GCW for a V8 3.92. The sticker only does some of the math for you.
Ram's website has a VIN decoder as well that will tell you your exact truck specs. It was working the last time I looked.
As already said, the chart is near worthless.
I clipped the clips on the cables and carefully removed them from the battery, and swapped it out. Admittedly a little fidgety, but worked properly. A tender or jumper that goes to the cig lighter from amazon would be easier.
Literally any old charger from walmart:
Even 1.25 amps would be...
May be obvious, but flush both systems. The “strawberry milkshake of death” is a thing with Nissan. The trans doesn’t live long running with that water base, if it has crossed. Trans is 100psi, coolant is 20psi, so may be safe. Obviously a new radiator is needed, hope you have warranty.
