Good luck getting it turned off. I still get email reports from Onstar for a 2017 chevy truck that I traded in 2019, and also on the Jeep Grand Cherokee that I traded for my Ram in 2020. One would think email addresses would get updated to a new owner at some point?
My truck shows a trailer connected indicator on the dash even when using a 4-pin on a small utility trailer. I had always thought it was detecting the trailer through the 4 pin plug. Are you saying the trailer is detected by the rear view camera?
My 19 Laramie Sport came with the Bridgestone Duelers. The Falkens are part of the ORP. I've not driven on those Falkens, but having driven 5000 miles on the Duelers before replacing I can say confidently that I would not plan to tow with them. They're terrible even without a load.
I've had this kit in my 2019 Laramie for year and a half 25,000 miles. No problems with the ball joints, but dealer did replace front sway bar links when still under warranty. They said "we won't tell them about the leveling kit", which leads me to think that they thought the leveling kit was...
Thanks for the advise. I've been using meguiars carnibua wax for 20+ years but my wife got me a ceramic spray. Going to try that. The paint doesn't feel too rough now but thought I might clay it again before applying the ceramic. Just didn't know of there's such as thing as claying too much.
Clay barred my truck last summer - first time ever doing that. Getting ready for a wax and I'd like to claybar again before waxing. Is that too soon? For those that clay bar, how frequently?
I am rhe opposite of you. My 2019 is my first Ram and I love the look of it. I didnt own a Ram before the 5th gen because I didnt like the front end styling.
I brought my 2019 to the dealer suspecting a cracked manifold on the passwnger side because i could hear the tick. They determined it needed to be replaced, along with the drivers side and informed me when done that the front sway bar links had also been replaced because they needed. I didn't...
Im thinking about installing this muffler. Any problems with rusted bolts? I have one bolt broken off in the front flange. Not sure how I'm going to remove that. In the rear you had to cut the pipe I assume?
I dont carry heavy payloads often but I certainly want to be able to. I'm thinking adding the 1" lift in the rear may bring it close to level when adding a load. That might not even be enough though. Might sag more than an inch. So it crossed my mind to install the Airlift airbags inside the...
Thank you! This helps a lot. I have a Laramie with the sport hood (same as Rebel?), which sometimes can make it look nose high. Comparing to the look of a Rebel is even more helpful than with a regular hood.
I have a 2" front level to allow room for larger tires and because I didn't like how low to the ground the front was. It looks and drives great, except when I pull a medium to heavy load. When starting level it doesn't take much for the rear sag to make me nose high. I'm trying to decide between...
I went with the same but gloss. Kinda wish I had done mat because the gloss show so many water spots after washing. Other than that I really like them. Simplest install ever.
