    AlfaOBD

Try this again and see if we can keep the admins from jumping in. Are you having any issues with the truck you think are related to this setting? If not, then just leave it alone. It's very easy to screw up your BCM making changes you don't fully understand, or know what they do. It's...

Paint defect (under warranty) dealers will not repair it. I want a buyback. (Update 10/9/25 Post #12)

I grew up driving RWD trucks in the winter. Never more than 150lbs in the bed of any weight at all. Most of the time just on regular all season tires. I daily drove my 00 Dakota R/T through the 2009 Nebraska winter where they set the record for consecutive days with snow on the ground. Even...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Mopar doesn't make any parts. They contract out to other companies and just rebrand. NGK is the main supplier for spark plugs for Dodge/RAM . And all you will find in the Hemi.

FRAME DAMAGE AFTER TOWING A TRAILER

Replacing the frame isn't a big thing, and.nkt as expensive as most people think it is. Personally, I'd ask the shop to do that route because you are concerned the frame strength is compromised, and you won't feel comfortable pulling a trailer with a repaired frame

What did you do to your Ram today???

Probably because Mobil1 isn't as good as people want it to be anynore. The Valvoline R&P is a better rated oil and performs better in testing.

    Spare tire question

Smaller spare will work. If you have a rear tire go out, move one of the front tires to rear and put the spare in the front. Just don't use 4wd.

What did you do to your Ram today???

You should definitely trade it in on a Honduh Ridgeline. Will solve all your issues. Or, depending on the size of your TT, you may be better off stepping up to a 2500

    Wire thingie under dash?

It's only a 3 amp fuse, so whatever it is takes very low power. I don't think I've seen any tracker installs where they added a fuse for them. Most were plug and play with the OBD port.

    Wire thingie under dash?

Could be anything aftermarket electronics wise. Maybe previous owner has a hard wired dash cam, or radar detector. Could be aftermarket car alarm/remote start. Yes trackers are common, but doesn't mean that's what it always is. Definitely trace the wires and see where it goes.

    Was the wrong coolant added?

Take the cap off and there is a plastic dipstick in reservoir

1500 DT's being made in Mexico now (in addition to Sterling Heights) !?!

Interesting, wonder if that means they may be finally transitioning the HDs to the 5th gen cabs and are getting the assembly line tooled for it by running 1500s.

TO HEMI or not to hemi ?

The 6.4 BGE is available in the 2500+, not the 5.7 Hemi. And the Cummins is an I6 turbo. :p

Pretty much any vehicle built since at least 2000

    Normal engine temperatures?

Of the surface is prepped properly, and clean, it should not leak, but it wouldn't hurt to put some gasket tack on it. As far as temps, yours sound normal. And these coolant systems are not considered sealed systems anyways.
