To me it's a matter of appearance and function. If you will never really challenge this truck off road and want comfort over off-road performance and rugged styling, Limited wins. If the reverse, then Rebel. Both are really nice trucks so to me it's that simple. I haven't driven the Limited but...
ChatGPT says:
Measurements for 22+ Ram 1500 G/T (RamBox)
RamBox trucks have a slightly lower available surface because of the lid seam.
Vertical position:
1.75" – 2.0" (≈44–51 mm) below the bedside crease
(the decal moves up slightly so it doesn’t touch the RamBox lid gap).
Horizontal position...
Ir still says 5/60k on the sticker but in my Mopar account where it lists warranties it has 5/60k and then an extension for the 10/100k, almost as if you bought it separately as an extended warranty.
I am not bothered by them. In fact, it is the opposite. I think they look and function better. I am wondering if anyone else who actually has them can comment that they like them or they aren't a problem when not towing.
It is a Rebel so it already has 3.92. MPG will be same except for the tow technology.
I am getting a very good deal on this one which is driving this. Ideally I would get the exact options I want. For a 23% off MSRP at a promotional interest rate, I may make a concession for the tow package.
Considering a new Ram with the tow package, which I don't need or want, but I got a good price and it has all the other options I want. My only issue is the actual tow mirrors. I had them on my last Ram and hated them. I haven't seen anything but complaints about the new ones, mostly from people...
Looking at some 2021s and wanted to see if someone could verify a few things:
1. Is blind spot/cross path detection in the Level 2 package or only a stand alone option? None of them have this option by itself, but with my 2019 and on the build sheet it is listed separate. I wonder if there is a...
My vote is YES, good deal/fair deal. I would say something like 57k would be a great deal, but 5k at this level isn't a significant difference. That is a really nice truck.
Where did you get the modules and ODB genie from? I am in the same situation you were in. Replaced mirrors only and am interested just adding heat personally. Don't care about the power fold but will take it. Any advice on achieving this and lessons learned is appreciated.
I don't think this is correct. He got the same mirrors I have and I verified those were the factory replacements one for a Rebel without tow mirrors, and they only come with the power folding mirrors. I personally have not tried to enable power fold, so I can't personally verify. I would bet...
