That person had an issue that was unrelated to the recall.

It’s not a physical part. It’s a software flash to the ABS module. It does not need to be driven at all for the recall flash.

Make sure you set VehConfig 1: Model Year to 2022. Double check Radio & Connectivity: Digital Rear View Camera Present and make sure it is set to yes. Reboot the radio twice.

Not sure what else you have going on. That’s definitely the setting that makes the grid lines work again (assuming you turned them back on in the radio settings).
