You completely misunderstood everything I said. Once they are open the flow rates are the same. A 180 thermostat, fully open by 185, flows the same as a 203 thermostat fully open by 208. If your engine, with a 203 thermostat is hitting 220 degrees, dropping to a 180 thermostat isnt going to...
S that's not how thermostats work. The amount they flow is pretty much the same whether you have a 160 thermostat or a 210 thermostat. The only thing that changes is when they open. And as bigDodge said, if your thermostat isn't opening until 220 then you may just need a new thermostat. My...
Check your radiator hoses to make sure they arent leaking. Also, there has been several recent posts about radiators leaking.
As for your engine temps sound alien the truck is performing as designed from factory.
If you were hitting 220, when towing, with the factory thermostat, going to a 180 or 190 won't prevent it from getting that hot again. Will just extend the time it takes to get that warm. the factory thermostat was fully open by 205, so the only reason it should get hotter than say 210 would be...
There is no difference between Rwd and 4wd lift kits. Other than you won't need the transfer case lowering stuff if going tall lift on RWD
I would suggest the Bilstien 5100 for a front level.
Just making sure. Try stepping up to 37.4 first.
And it matters for you, I wasn't able to keep my performance and off road pages after update to 40.x. I also lost the tailgate open indicating the dash.
It's possible, but hard to say. It's not something I think you would have accidentally changed unless it's right next to another setting in the menu that you did change for parking sensors.
The tube in the middle of the bushing should be all you need. Take some of the silicone grease and put it between the bushing and the frame. That area needs greased or it will squeak.
Try this again and see if we can keep the admins from jumping in.
Are you having any issues with the truck you think are related to this setting? If not, then just leave it alone. It's very easy to screw up your BCM making changes you don't fully understand, or know what they do. It's...
I grew up driving RWD trucks in the winter. Never more than 150lbs in the bed of any weight at all. Most of the time just on regular all season tires. I daily drove my 00 Dakota R/T through the 2009 Nebraska winter where they set the record for consecutive days with snow on the ground. Even...
Mopar doesn't make any parts. They contract out to other companies and just rebrand. NGK is the main supplier for spark plugs for Dodge/RAM . And all you will find in the Hemi.
Replacing the frame isn't a big thing, and.nkt as expensive as most people think it is. Personally, I'd ask the shop to do that route because you are concerned the frame strength is compromised, and you won't feel comfortable pulling a trailer with a repaired frame
