Yeah. You'd think.
I've been reading and hearing about this, too. As posted earlier, and as suggested by one of the many YouTube troubleshooters, the Hellcat oil pump may be the fix.
The guy made a compelling argument.
He also mentioned that the MDS (or whatever it's being called this week)...
Wow!
Thanks for the info, though. I googled the part #, and Amazon coughed up a similar part for a 2500, 3500, etc. I don't know if it's compatible, or not. It doesn't look the same.

I've looked several times for those (All I have now are tow/haul and traction control.) but my "search-fu" seems to be lacking. Do you have a link?
Thanks!
To keep on-topic... I don't need garage door openers, but we have two "Mighty Mule" gate openers. I was pleased to discover that my visor...
They said that you led a rich fantasy life. :D
But yeah. I agree with you. Although the 8 speed auto is the best automatic trans I've ever driven. It's very intuitive. Whoever did the programming deserves a raise.
I have a 2019 1500 (see sig) that has ~43000 miles on it. It has been quite trouble free. No cracked manifolds or broken bolts.
I've received two recall notices. One for the wipers and one for the all-weather floor mats. I fixed the wipers myself, and the floor mats are a non-issue for me.
I...
I get it.
I've got a 5.7 "non-e-torque", now. The fact that the only flavor of Hemi now available is the e-torque version ensures that I will likely just drive my 2019 until the wheels fall off it.
If the 5.7 dies before the rest of the truck falls apart, I will build up and swap in a 6.4...
So... no more Hemi. Seems like you get a BEV, a hybrid, or a Hurricane 6. And the HO 6 is only available in the "uplevel" trims. (Other than the HO 6, I could be mistaken about the various options. Only bothered to watch it once.)
Looks like I'm going to drive my 2019 until the wheels fall off...
I have the 8.4 non-NAV. I use Android Auto and WAZE. Works perfectly. My only complaint is that the "callouts" from Waze are not loud enough.
Probably a setting someplace. Just haven't taken the time to figure it out.
Welcome. Please keep us posted on the anti freeze smell. I drove all over the NW quadrant of GA, Friday, and thought I smelled antifreeze.
(To be fair, I was delivering a used engine for someone. A quantity of antifreeze leaked out into the rear of the bed, and may have been dripping onto the...
Just got mine replaced (1st one) this past Thursday. Collected a rock chip, under my passenger side wiper. Crack ran about a foot, in three weeks.
In Ga, your comprehensive/deductible applies to glass breakage, too. The deductible wouldn't have saved me much, and I didn't want a claim, so I paid...
I have a theory.
Batteries act like big capacitors. They filter, and help to smooth, the A-C voltages produced by the alternator.
If the battery is in bad shape, it may not be smoothing the signal from the alternator, sufficiently.
As with any computer system, spikes and "noise" on the...
Just one observation. I hope the production model doesn't have the silly high beltline side windows which we have all come to know and love about the Camaro.
Yeah. I get it. "Aerodynamics, and bla, bla, bla..." Still.
I've got the Flwomaster FlowFX on my 2019 5.7. It's a bit louder than stock, but definitely not "pizz off the neighbors" loud.
Reminds me of the 383 Roadrunner that my neighbor used to have, when I was growing up.
Prices can vary from one to another. My local selling dealer wanted several hundred dollars to activate my (self-installed) trailer brake controller in the BCM.
The one across town wanted just about half that amount.
(I ended up buying AlfaOBD, and a Bluetooth dongle and Security Gateway...
Now that I did what I needed to do...
My lift has symmetrical arms. I parked the truck forward enough that I could just open the front doors past the posts.
I extended the front arms as far forward on the frame rail as I could - just behind where the frame rail angles upward towards the front...
