Thanks for the info. I disconnected the negative battery cable and it went away. Unfortunately, now I have to wait for all of my 12” controls and Sirius to come back.

Glad to hear. I disconnected mine and it only went down 2 degrees then went back up after a while. The check engine light also came on and wouldn’t go away so I had to do disconnect the negative battery cable to reset it. I’m still waiting for all of my features to return to my 12”.

I disconnected the ambient temperature sensor to see if the inside temperature reading would reset as it’s been about 8 to 10 degrees high and now after reconnecting it I have the check engine light on. Any suggestions or fixes are much appreciated.

Is your temp sensor still working correctly? Mine read 48 this morning when the actual temperature was 33. Needless to say the seat and steering wheel didn’t come on. My understanding is that The Mopar cover is a Bakflip. Mine leaked at the front corners, over the wheel wells and very badly at the rear corners. The rear leaked so bad i actually had water pooling in the corners.

Amazing that yours doesn’t leak. I had 2 installed and both leaked like crazy. I finally got fed up and returned it to the dealer. I put my soft tri fold back on which doesn’t leak at all.

Really sad that you and so many others are going through this. I am hoping for all of you that haven’t been able to use the feature that someone at FCA gets their head out of their butt and figures this out. I guess I was lucky mine was somehow resolved at the 9 month point.

Yours is ridiculous. I would bug the dealer to replace it. Mine was perfect when I got it but I later had a small scratch that I must have done and I was able to get it out with Meguiars cleaner wax.

I use Meguiars cleaner wax and it does wonders with scratches on trim pieces.

Again, it doesn’t show up in the photo but try some cleaner wax like Meguiars. It does a great job with fine scratches in trim pieces. I’ve done it before.

I can’t really see them in your picture but any good dealer service department would swap it out for you free of charge.

Was the Truxedo easy to install and does it leak at all?

Unreal. Can’t have anything nice anymore. PDR guys are amazing. I have a guy who can make just about any issue perfect. I had one ding two PDR guys told me was not possible to repair yet my new guy fixed it and it’s flawless. Glad you got yours straightened out.
