I have the V6 pentastar paired with the pedal commander, So I added a AFE cold air intake. I got this at a steal on Autozone's website around $275 complete shipped around the father's day sale. You can run it open or run it with the cover installed which decreases the sound. I usually run it...
My truck came with the bedliner so I was bored and made a stupid purchase and decided to add a bed rug/ carpet to the floor and tailgate to keep the bed coating looking like new for longevity and it's easy on the knees when climbing in and out, and keeps items from sliding around in the bed of...
Getting ready for a trip to Michigan for my Stepdad's funeral up at Sterling Heights where he worked at Chrysler, exactly where my Ram was built at the Sterling Heights plant, and also where I worked at Sears in Lakeside mall as a auto technician back in the day. I was packing up the truck and...
Which is why I went my route after seeing Ford, Chevy, GMC trucks all chipped up in the used car lot. Cheap/thin paint. Pretty sad that bugs and washing the car can take paint off the bumper, just noticed a chip on the painted mirror today, lol. ARE THESE REALLY ROCK CHIPS! NO just cheap quality...
Here is what I did.... I like the Rebel/ TRX lower bumper but not a fan of the grill as well, here you go....

If it only happens when you apply the brakes, I believe it is a brake issue, you said the vehicle had 500 miles; makes me think its been sitting in a lot for a while, with some vehicles sitting, rotors rust or create a small rust ridge due to the rain and morning dew, maybe the pads are riding...

I painted it because the paint texture wasn't that great to me; see link below.

I had to reopen and start a new case, eventually one lady understood where I was coming from and she took care of it and even followed up with a phone call, now that's great customer service, unfortunately you just have to keep trying, the good thing is you have documentation saying you would be...
So they approve it then deny it, not happy about this! I can't stand customer service these days, customer service should be #1 in any business. Early on with my factory order less than 3,000 miles I noticed one of my chrome wheels was pitted badly when hand washing because my microfiber rag...
Sorry Darksteel, I understand and feel your frustration. Manufacturers should be held accountable for these paint issues. I went to the used car lot just for this because I got a few rock chips (they say) when I had only less than 2,500 miles on it; three on the front bumper and one on the...
Probably a defective battery, batteries aren't made as good like from the 80-90's era where they could last over 10 years. Put a mutli-meter on the battery when running, battery voltage should be between 13-14.8 or so volts
Never been a fan of leather and I prefer cloth seats. I'm a mechanic so I always use seat covers to protect my vehicles.....and the winner is........ Rough Country seat covers.
!!
Wasn't a big fan of led headlight assemblies either, I ordered mine with halogen because I've seen too many manufactures fail prematurely over the years and they are expensive to replace. 1st I put lastfit led bulbs into the housing as I've been doing with my other cars for about 15 years, just...
These guys at the dealer are idiots! To properly diagnose a water leak you have to gut the headliner/ interior, have one person inside with a flashlight and another outside with a water hose. Soon the guy inside will see where the water is seeping in. I bet you the dealer didn't do this because...
I use to work as a automotive technician before going to the airlines working on aircraft. I loved changing tires the best because I tried to be fast like nascar. I did everything brakes, alignments, engine changes, you name it; sadly some technicians don't know how to balance tires correctly...
Mine did the same thing next to the concrete wall... bank drive thru and work guard shack, lol! In the link it provides the technical service bulletin regarding this. Have a great day!
