exactly. use the search function. this has been gone over a million times here. the volume is controlled by the can-bus. with out a dsr1 (or pac)nothing is plug and play

if our replacing the stock amp do the dsr1. the dsr1 along with the idatalink harness is cake. dont even have to remove the factory radio and the 360 dsp/eq is awesome.

i had the hvac tsb done last week. didnt notice any difference. installed clamp on heater core hose and holy **** is this thing a ice box.

How thick were the spacers they provided?

dsr1 is where its at. for these trucks its cake. completely plug and play and the rockford tune app is cake. guys dont waste ur money on the pac unit unless you are just adding a sub. the dsr1 is the same price and does so much more and you dont even have to remove the radio.

the smaller the box the higher the resonate frequency. poly fill might add up to 10% "box" volume. i would never ever use manufactures min unless you want to peak at higher than "normal" frequencies.

remember the factory sub is wired out of phase. all the sub noises should go away once anc is removed.

where is the heater core hose at in the engine compartment. i want to test mine with it pinched off and see if there is a difference.
