There are only two ways to resolve this: a software update from the factory or adding an after-market controller like a Prodigy. The latter is what I did with my 2015 until RAM came out with an update. It was very difficult to get someone at RAM to listen to the problem with the ITBM. After...
Mud flaps won't stop the "sandblasting" effect. What stops it is fixed-in-place running boards. These powered deployable running boards tuck in and don't redirect the wind away from the flares. I have the same problem on my 2022 as the OP, albeit not as pronounced.
Set up a GoPro or equivalent to watch what is going on down there while driving. Also, check the drive shafts to make sure it isn't the source of vibration.
I use a horse hair long bristle brush on my Longhorn's leather seats along with Lexol leather cleaner. My interior color is saddle, and it does show dirt. The Lexol, along with the horse hair brush, does a great job at cleaning and getting the dirt out. I follow up with Lexol leather...
Nice boat.
I would find a CAT scale and get accurate weights; you have a three-axle trailer for a 4,100-pound boat, which suggests the boat weighs more than 4,100 pounds.
Check that the tongue weight is around 10 to 12 percent of the trailer's weight. You want to travel with the boat trailer...
Finding how the fuel injectors failed could point to the root cause. If you could get the failed injectors over to a shop that does injector testing, it would be a good start.
I can't speak for after-market deployable running boards. I have the factory power running boards on my 2022, and I won't be getting them again if I have a choice.
First, the running boards collect debris thrown up by the front wheels, and mud flaps don't help.
Next, they fail to work in the...
When I get in my truck after a remote start, it is like stepping into a hurricane-type environment until I push the engine start button. I've never seen an option to change this behavior, but I wouldn't want to.
You can go crazy trying to find the perfect tire; so many choices. Find a tread pattern that will give you the traction needed and a side look that goes with the truck, that should narrow the choices down. Then pick the ones that are on sale.
That reminds me of what retailers do when they put on a big sales event. They advertise huge discounts, and in reality, the price you pay is about the same or a bit higher than everyday pricing. Tell them what they want to hear, and they will believe, I guess.
I'll say it: truck pricing is way too high. It is the most profitable vehicle built. The MSRP needs to come down a lot. I don't know about the pricing on Ford SDs, but I just priced out a 3500 GMC AT4 nicely equipped, and its MSRP was quite a bit lower than a compatible RAM HD.
I had to give up...
NO!
I have a 2022 with the 12" Uconnect 5 system. As far as I know, the system automatically updates itself over the air. You can also set up WIFI and have the system update that way. My 2022 connects to my home's WIFI and updates this way; I've also had updates come over the air on long trips...
You left the door open awfully wide. What is best for you, hardcover or softcover, tri-fold or roll-up. Does your truck have RAM boxes or the multifunction split tailgate?
