I have a 2025 1500 crew cab that I would like members reviews on what you like I have been looking at aris action trac running boards but do not see any reviews thanks for any thoughts on these or any power steps

I can't speak for after-market deployable running boards. I have the factory power running boards on my 2022, and I won't be getting them again if I have a choice.

First, the running boards collect debris thrown up by the front wheels, and mud flaps don't help.

Next, they fail to work in the winter and may not tuck away if they deploy. There is a TSB out on how to lubricate the boards, but it isn't working in zero-degree weather.

If you live in a harsh winter climate, I say stay away from power boards.

thanks for your reply I live in central fl hope I never see 0 weather

I have the factory power steps on mine. They have been good up until last week. The driver side step needs a new motor and hinge in the forward part. It makes a horrible noise and vibration when deploying. I have disabled them temporarily in the UConnect settings. It is covered under my extended warranty.

I went with Rough Country power boards when I added steps to one of our trucks. I might have gone with the Aries steps if I had seen them, but they are about $650 more than the Rough Country's. I have no regrets with the RC's but I like the better rocker protection you should get with the Aries steps.

thank you for your help I also like the extra protection the aris steps give
