Okay guys and girls the Super 10 has replaced the resonator and is dumped to the ground. First impressions, WOW, sounds deep, like way to deep to be a V6. I think I just found the perfect setup. Drone from 30 - 45 is pretty bad but once you're cruising the exhaust note is almost non-existent...
UPDATE:
Still have a water leak, went to the dealer yesterday and asked what work they performed, they showed me the paperwork and notes that the tech wrote, nothing in it mentioned removing the fender as the TSB indicates. So I went to the guy who sold me the truck and since we have a good...
I just bought 5 quarts 0W-20 Penzoil Platinum and a Mopar oil filter for my first oil change. Haven't done it yet because I only have 1,200 miles on the odometer. Either a 24 inch socket or 15/16 will work to remove the oil filter cap.
Water leaks into the driverside floor board of my cabin, already been to the dealer once, they said they fixed it but they were wrong. I found a service bulletin yesterday and took it to them, it requires removing the driver side fender and reapplying some epoxy sealant. The service guy said...
So I still have the stock resonator on there and was curious so on Monday I will be replacing the resonator with a Super 10. Will post a video when it's done.
I custom ordered it at the dealer, brought them the paperwork I printed out from RAMS website. Just went back and rebuilt my truck and noticed it was missing the exhaust. Truck is going in on Monday for a water leak, I'll see when the parts are available.
I didn't buy it online, I took my truck to the muffler shop, told the guy what I wanted, and he placed my truck on his lift, looked at my exhaust layout and chose the appropriate muffler replacement. I'm having a Super 10 put on -on- Monday, it's going in the place of the stock resonator, I will...
Water leaking into my freaking cabin. Already been to the dealer once about it, they said they fixed it but this morning I walked outside and found a nice sized puddle under the carpet.
So I submitted a complaint to FCA and they emailed me a survey, I did the survey (took me an hour) and about 2 hours later I received a call. I made sure in the survey to mention the lack of the dual exhaust and black tips every chance I got. Anyway, the FCA representative explained to me that...
A ton or Pentastar owners are doing it, it bolts straight on, the piping is the same diameter. The only thing you need is the rubber exhaust mount for the drivers side.
Well Ram Customer Care got back to me regarding my issue. They sent me this:
Not quite sure what document he's referring to. Because this screen shot (directly from RAMS website) contradicts his documents.
When I took my truck in for the water leaking into the cab I told them how on 3 occasions or so my transmission felt as if it slipped from 1st into 2nd. They couldn't replicate it and no further action was taken. Kinda makes me worry.
