There is no chime. Just a pop in the speakers when anything electrical powers up when the truck is off. I just have the 6 speaker base system. Didn’t think it had an amp outside of the head unit? Honestly more worried about battery drain.
Anyone else having trouble with their speakers popping with the truck off? Mine pop whenever I open the doors. If I am just sitting in the vehicle and open the mirror they pop and the Evic lights up. Seems that when anything electrical activates while truck is off they pop.
Just added the Hellwig 7883 for lifted trucks this weekend. Man I should have done this sooner. Ride is so much better, going around corners no longer scary lol.
Thank you to Alex @Realtruck for setting me up a Hellwig sway bar with adjustable end links and N-Fab Epyx steps. Ordered the steps yesterday and the arrived today.
It’s just the way the pic is. It’s actually 1.5” lower on the driver rear than the front. The ride is a bit stiffer but I also went to LT27565r20 Wildpeak AT3W’s. With softer tires the ride would be better than stock. You will need some new UCA’s. I do like the RC UCA’s
I just did the Rough country 3.5” lift with Lifted struts and Icon 1.5” lifted rear coils. I can tell you, with nothing on the rear of your truck it will be squatting quite a bit. I am having to add a spacer to my rear driver side just to bring level due to the gas tank weight.
Spacers not needed with the springs as they are 1.5“ lift. Prefer to use coils or springs rather than spacers. Much better ride. May end up adding a spacer to the rear driver side due to the weight of a full Gas tank dropping the rear driver side an inch. Waiting for the new springs and coils...
I agree aftermarket Falkens not the same as oem. Wilpeak AT3W LT. couldn’t be happier. They are great on the farm and road. Make a bit of noise though.
I thought my mirror was blurry and it turned out to be my window. Opened the door and stepped back a few feet and everything is wavy looking. Appointment at dealership next week.
I installed the Lasfit Hi, Lows and Fogs leds last night. Wow what a difference. Huge upgrade. I really like the look of the black bezels in the hologen housing and did not want the factory leds. The Lasfits work flawlessly.
Great question, I actually asked. As it was factory install on that model it is covered under 3 year 36. Since Mopar lists it as a performance part, if installed aftermarket even when done by Mopar tech, it is only a 12 month warranty. Even states not covered in the Mopar MVP plans on page 4...
