Then you can’t have turn signal activated cameras, because the camera view on the regular side mirrors is straight to the ground.
The tow mirror cameras are aimed more rearward, so their image is straight behind, hence the reason they can also have the trailer reverse guidance views.
They can’t. DO NOT LET THEM TRY TO CALIBRATE. The recalibration is an automatic charge by their corporate for this windshield. You need to explain to them when you go there to only install the windshield and nothing else. They will readjust the pricing so you don’t have to pay the calibration...
It actually started as a factory feature on the 2023 HD Rams, along with the park sense activated front camera. All the 2023 and up 1500’s are capable of those features, but have to activate them with alfaobd. The blind spot turn signal camera feature isn’t designed for 1500s with regular...
Most likely. The CHMSL is the same as previous years, but the mirror for 2025 is new part number- 68594726AA.
Not sure if there will be any proxi alignment issues after install, since there currently no way to program to keep auto dim.
What if we argued it from a different direction:
Vehicle owners are able to change their own fluids, do their own maintenance, and still maintain warranty.
How do you actually prove you’ve done oil changes on time, and how would they prove you’ve done didn’t?
Pretty much lucky, because that green/white wire just happens to be the impact sensor ground/return wire, and any sensor ground wire works for the door handle return wire.
Just now seeing this. I don’t believe you tapped the correct wires. What you are referring to as “proximity sensors” in the doors are actually the impact sensors, so their wires are not what you are looking for.
What you need to do is essentially tap into the front door handle wires, and you’ll...
It’s a setting in alfaobd, and it is set to yes on California and Mississippi trucks, but I checked it on both my 2500 and 1500 trucks, and it doesn’t do what you guys are wanting.
That setting only applies to the tow mirror rear trailer spot lamps and whether or not they’ll stay on in reverse...
Was your truck originally shipped and sold to California or Mississippi? You can find out on your build sheet with your VIN at this link:

If so, the cargo lamp output is configured to be disabled with vehicle moving.
For 2025, not sure. I can’t find a single 2025 that is configured for trailer surround view just browsing through listings, they all have AUX 1 and AUX 2.
Until someone is able to configure the bcm on a 2025 for trailer surround view, we can’t be sure.
Someone else plugged a trailer surround...
If you have the Trailer Camera Wiring Prep Package by Mopar, then you might not have the trailer gateway installed on the truck.
Use alfaobd to enable “Cabin Net: TSVCM Trailer Surround View Camera Module“. That will change the AUX 1 camera soft key to the trailer surround view soft key. Then...
If it’s plugged in, the trailer tow module can’t be off line because it uses the same power and communication lines as the other one.
There is one last thing you can ask them, which will trap them into unwittingly verifying that you don’t have any wiring missing- “Is the 2025 mopar trailer...
Verify that trailer tow module 68569520AB has been installed on the back wall. Switch is installed. Verify with them that they added sales code XHC to your truck, then tell them to perform the proxi alignment (flashing odometer is the classic telltale that this needs to be done).
