    Slow Hemi :(

I have had about five V8's that had power and speed to spare. Three of those were Dodge engines pre-hemi. The others were in different brands. Same deal there. This is my second turbo based engine, and no issues with either. The Hurricane is definitely the better of the two. There's just...

    Sensor?

That's the crash detection sensor. You need the bracket that won't block it. I had to order it from Mopar. Then picked up another from a member on this forum. There was someone else trying to unload one in a thread about the front bracket. Wasn't very expensive from Mopar. Less than $20...

The old uconnect error, see dealer

A couple of things that others had success with. Ignore it. It goes away eventually. Hard reboot the unit. Hold power + tune until it turns off. 30 seconds or so. Factory reset from the settings. Disconnect battery and let it sit awhile. Differing opinions on how long though. It might...

Unintended Steering Behavior at Moderate Speed

I have noticed somewhat weird steering behavior when passing with the quick steering motions required for the maneuver. All the lane nanny features are off. It happens with or without blinkers. Unless the systems decided I still needed them because of my driving habits. It doesn't feel like...

HELP from RAM CARE - ASAP

Yeah, that did jump the rails a bit, but there were some comments buried in there that might provide a clue to your problem. Some of it was that with other options, was it worth the scratch. Not all USB ports are the same. Especially between model years. Some serve different purposes and...

HELP from RAM CARE - ASAP

What's with all caps and ASAP? There's no fire and brimstone. No flood. No locusts. I'm not completely positive, but I thought some USB ports were charge only. Many things could be happening. Exploring the other options mentioned above might a better use of time. If not, sing a joyful noise.

    Tonneau Cover Latch Question

Definitely an issue. May not get a tight seal. Look for covers that have bolt on clamps. I got stuck with a cover with latches because of these. Too expensive to send back. The return shipping was going to cost more than the cover. Some sites indicate the cover will work with the tie down...

Which motor - hemi or hurricane?

In time, the Hurricane will prove itself worthy. Stellantis fubar'd its release into the 1500 line. Hemi is a great engine. You just don't eliminate it and force owners to accept an unknown as a replacement. That doesn't work here. Ask the English about imposing your will on this...

Your are correct. I got Jeep happy. 😁

    high milage hurricane engines..?

This is the first model year in the 1500's. Jeep put them in the Wagoneers and Cherokee a few years ago. Any useful information would be on a Jeep site. Even then, there are some differences in the Jeeps and 1500 Hurricanes. The concept is similar though.
