The older cases did NOT split the torque evenly using just the electrical side of the clutch,
on my 2015 installing a kit to give it full voltage it did considerably better.
In low traction surfaces it never came close to doing a 50/50 split.
I hope that the 2019 with the different BW case does...
That article is on the 44-44 T-case and it is pure and simple BULL.
Those clutches and RAM's programing could not handle the torque applied to them.
I had that case in my 2015 Eco-diesel and I know for a fact how poor it was when hard work was expected of it in low traction conditions.
My trucks...
I would expect the front end to feel heavier and different,
when 4wd auto is selected the front axle disconnect engages.
The front axle engage is what replaced free wheel hubs many years ago.
When disengaged it disconnects one axle shaft from the differential, engaged both axle shafts are...
Well I look at things different then some, plus my truck gets out in fields and dirt roadways.
I detest 22's and don't like 20's when I was looking for my Laramie or similarly equiped
one of the main considerations was 18 inch rims, light colored interior and the bench seat
without that huge...
That E range tire at 45 psi with a weight rating of 2300 pounds provides a total of 9200 pounds of carrying capacity.
My 1500 Larime with C range tires LT275/65R18C only asks for 38PSI in all 4 tires per the door sticker
The tires are rated for a max of 50 psi and 2535 pounds load each.
I picked up a "19" Laramie to replace my "15" Big Horn this spring.
My Laramie has the factory 18" rims, because I always run a dedicated snow tire I started looking for spare rims for snow tires.
I ended up with a set of aluminum factory 18's for $400 for the set.
I don't believe that you can...
There is a thread on this site with a considerable amount of information of the fuses; it is

He has done an excellent job of listing the...
Deer cause a lot of vehicle damage, I have a scanner in my kitchen not a day goes by without several car deer calls.
My wife has gotten then with her Equinox ( a $5000 tag) and her Jeep Compass (buff out a scuff).
My kids hit several while growing up. My old Dakota took out at least 6 of the...
The activation of the t-case clutch pack was electrical, after it was engaged electrically the ball and cam in the t-case applied much more clamping force to the clutch pack.
When the ball and cam didn't apply the clamping force the clutch pack would slip under load and over heat.
The physical...
I have not seen a parts breakdown of the newer t-case in the new 1500's.
The modes of operation are the same as the previous ones, if the internals are similar
under decent traction conditions they will hookup and work good.
The previous ones such as I had in my 2015 Big Horn and a ball and cam...
Can't help you with that issue. I tried using the tilt feature but it tilted the mirrors so far that all I could see was the ground.
Couldn't see a trailer or anything behind me except the ground right behind me.
Had to turn it off.
Well I run a tad bit different then many on here I guess.
If the weather is predicting a storm I tend to keep between 2-300 pounds in the rear of the bed.
I burn coal in my fireplace insert so I toss 5-10 bags of coal in the bed.
I also run what I consider to be about the best dedicated snow...
Cordless impact with 100# torque stick, then finish with torque wrench adapter on breaker bar.
As far as the cap getting loose on the nuts, once they are loose pry them off and use a different socket that fits,
or buy some solid aftermarket lug nuts.
That will see be under your factory 3/36 warranty,
your extended will not start till the other is done.
So your 3/36, then your power train, then your emmision then fianlly your extended.
I just went ahead and got mine also;
I went with the 8 year 125,000 on my 2019 with 20,000 just about $3300.
She was put in service 2/28/19 so good till 2/28/27,
now to see if I make it that long.
Well according to Borg Warner this new t case is better then sliced bread,
I believe that when I see how well it functions next winter as I have a very challenging driveway.
When it gets iced up or wet slippery snow the t case deficiencies really show up.
From B-W...
I also had Brandon's switch in my 15 Big Horn eco, it definitely helped that truck.
The auto function along with much of the FCA programing was a major disappointment to me.
I had hoped that the programming and "transfer case upgrades" had been enough to over come the short comings that the...
I installed the bed step in my 2019 1500 last week.
I used a part # 82215289AG Mopar step.
To install it required removeing 2 bolts and reinstalling them plus a third bolt that was supplied
that went into a tapped hole, there was a forth point which was a keyhole type pin which slotted
down into...
