Haven't heard of that issue. Sounds like an electrical problem and should be covered under warranty. I would take it to the dealer. If it's that easy to reproduce, hopefully easy to fix.
I like the small size of that one, be able to fit it anywhere. Looks like the AI DSP would be good for someone like me that doesn't have any experience with tuning.
Definitely up to you. I just figure if you're going to do subs, they should be in a box under the rear seat. Though with up to a 3.5" in the dash, you could do components all up front and maybe small 8" subs in the rear doors.
Since the 6X9's are good for mid bass, I might do a single 10" or...
This is the gauge I've been using for 10+ years. I like the built in flashlight in case I'm using it at night. I use it on my Jeep and also like the air bleed valve to even out the tires.
Bottom line: You should be able to get the same reading on two different gauges.
Robot or human?
Still not clear on how to check if the metra adapter is wired incorrectly. Is there a different company that makes them correct? I just figure if it's been configured incorrectly, at some point they might have fixed it. So don't want to reverse it and find out they already fixed it.
I don't...
For inflators, the connector can make a difference too. I bought a power tank inflator with a clip on connector and it was not accurate. I called power tank and they said that clip on is usually not good and to replace it with a screw on end. That ended up being correct. So always switch to the...
I think I understood that lol. So how do you install the resistor for the front and what do I buy for that?
Also, for the front 3.5", it came with the Metra 72-7902 for the front (72-6514 for the two sets of 6X9).
Link for the front adapter...
Probably would make sense if I have a warranty item go bad. That way it won't count against my family plan AAA free tows. I had a fun year with one of my Jeeps a few years ago and used up all my tows.
Assuming it came with my '23, I would still never call. So probably disregarded if they told me about it. Guess it's better than nothing if someone doesn't have AAA.
I've never found dealer sold roadside assistance to be even close worth it when compared to AAA. Similar to what you've found, just not as responsive and only focus on getting you to the dealer. I'd rather have the freedom to get a tow to wherever I want. With AAA you get so many free tows per...
I bought everything. Ended up getting:
2 sets of the Infinity 6X9 - Infinity Reference REF697F
1 pair of the 3.5" - Infinity Reference REF307F
I'll get the ANC bypass later if I need it. At least per Crutchfield, I don't need it. So looking forward to installing everything this weekend. I'm...
I'm planning to just replace the OEM speakers for now and not do an amp or sub.
So I'm planning to buy:
2 sets of the Infinity 6X9 - Infinity Reference REF697F
1 pair of the 3.5" - Infinity Reference REF307F
iDatalink bCH3 ANC Bypass Harness
That way I can just install them myself. I watched a...
Yup, I've had my '23 for 3 months now. Had a few times while backing up when it did that, slams on the brakes. I have 3 kids and made me think I killed one of them. Someone is going to have a heart attack with that kicking in! Scares the s* out of me every time.
Take it to the dealer if under warranty. Otherwise, up to you if you really want to pay them for that. If it's just making a noise, but still stable to stand on, I'd probably leave it. If it starts having some sort of functional problem, need to figure out if you want to fix it or replace with...
I would get the 2024 so you can have the 5.7. I bought one 3 months ago, didn't want the I6 Turbo. Figure it's the first year, so much more likely to have problems.
Give them a couple years at least to figure out the problems with the new Ram Charger. No thank you.
