Anyone tried to see which heated seat setting is the hottest with cloth seats? I tried perf. leather instead of default but I’m unsure if it really feels hotter or not but the ambient temps haven’t been very cold today to get a good feel. Thinking of just trying cloth option instead of default...
Not for nothing, not bashing people with an ED, but I’d stay away I think. I’ve personally seen three that have failed recently, finally get the engine in from a long wait in parts and now they have to be sent back and not installed because of a “pending” recall coming. Between it being low in...
The 256 RBI “ Max Tow” is only available in an open diff. So if your sure you have anti spin you have the regular C235 with 3.92s. That requires mopar synthetic 75w-140 and 3oz bottle of mopar anti slip additive.
Not sure if this would help anyone. Forgot I did an interior video with the windows down a while ago. I haven’t done a cold start video since it was new.
Yup, I looked inside mine. Stock has way more parts inside than the G/T. I’ve got about 6500 miles on my exhaust now, lots of towing too. I love it. There’s times I still grin ear to ear when I leave somewhere. It definetly got much louder than I expected but I love how it is mostly refined at...
There is a TSB for this concern if your truck fits the criteria. Can’t remember the cut off but I did mine.
Edit: I looked it up. TSB 23-039-21. Cut off date is trucks built after 7/26/21.
It got me once too.
Just for the record, once this starts to happen it continues at any volume, the clipping/cutting out just gets quieter. I’m not talking about the high volume fade after 27 or so.
I’ve tried all the ports in the truck all apple cables. I’ll try a dummy cord in the aux port and see what happens...
Just wanted to chime in quick to note that these diffs arent exactly checked the same as older units. The actual procedure involves a 2 inch zip tie or wire bent at 90 degrees and measure level from fill hole. Spec varies between our models and the TRX but none should be level with the fill...
Glad I’m not the only one. If I actually select usb and stay out of CarPlay it is better but will start to crackle eventually. Music under CarPlay screen is unusable. Tried another iPhone that was much newer and updated. Does the samething so it’s not a phone deal. Funny thing is, both phones...
With the age and miles I’d personally look into the truck having drag. Wouldn’t surprise me if a brake caliper pin was seized causing extra drag, or the brake pads frozen in the caliper supports. As noted above, fuel quality can play a roll in this as well as weather.
Also, might not be a bad...
Not sure I’d come online to blow someones doors down and admit to removing emissions devices off your truck publically. You are the reason why it’s difficult/impossible to get good tuning from the big guys. (Not that I would ever know who the good tuners are, that stuff is “illegal”)
As a tech and a fleet manager, engine oil is doing more than ever the last 10-15 years. I personally change mine at 6k miles in my hemi and it’s usually at about 50% oil life. No reason for an oil brand or oil filter debate. I use full synthetic due the longer intervals, and I’m a diehard...
I’m still running the iPhone 5SE. I usually try to keep my phones going as long as my trucks… 20 years or so! Lol. I’ll try iOS 15 tonight and hopefully it will fix the current issues and not add to them.
Reference STAR publication case number S2123000081. Ordered parts for mine and it fixed it. Butyl tape fixed the remaining rattle I had from the plastic door trim where the door seal meets the door.
Found a couple old STAR publications for iOS 14.5 causing issues. I’m on 14.6, guess maybe I should try the iOS update. Other publications say debris or cable issues which are not my issue.
As the title states. Anyone else experiencing this? 8.4 non nav. I normally don’t stream audio from my phone as I usually use Sirius. However, I’ve noticed after 10-12 minutes of driving the music will begin to distort, crackle or clip, while playing at any volume. It’s completely awful. I’ve...
