The smaller the garage, the less square footage. Builders can cram pack more houses in a development and make more money charging the same or more than a house with a larger garage because it’s shiny and new.
We did that. When we were with the architect drawing our house, I told them my 2006 Ram 2500 MegaCab CTD “WILL” fit in the garage. They understood and made it happen. Damn I miss that truck. My current truck fits just fine (crew cab w/ 6’ 4” bed). Still wish the garage was a little longer, but...
We did the same thing. When we were with the architect drawing the house, I told them my 2006 Ram 2500 MegaCab CTD “WILL” for in the garage. They understood and made it happen. Damn I miss that truck.
I’ve had both and I never noticed any difference when it comes to driving, maneuvering, or parking in a lot. As stated above, if you are parking in a short garage, and the longer bed won’t fit, then that might be a reason choose the shorter bed. I‘ve never regretted the longer bed, but I have...

Desert temps 110-115 daytime and pretty dang cold at night. I do not wheel with top and doors to keep those from getting damaged, so we baked. You will most likely need a new air filter and cabin filter when you get back. 🤣 The views are awesome.

This trail gets real...
I’ve been to Moab once and it was HOT and extremely dusty. It was a good time though and I’m glad I was able to do that once in my lifetime. We hit Hey Joe Canyon, Moab Rim, Potato Salad Hill, Pritchett Canyon, Metal Masher, Behind the Rocks, and quite a few more in my 05 LJR. I’d highly...
Came across this on FB. I like the idea, but geez $$$$$$$$.

This is absolutely correct. The only issue is if you go low enough to effect pinion angle, it is a little trickier due to the two piece driveshaft. 4” plus and you will most likely need to adjust the pinion angle.
Just a heads up, don’t seal up your cab vents on the back wall. I did that with my Ram 2500 when I installed DynaMat throughout the entire cab and I had to go back in and uncover them. It actually sealed up the cab so much, it made it difficult to close the doors. They are also designed to aid...
You need to contact a dealer and speak with someone that knows the Ram trucks well. When I ordered my truck from Mark Dodge, I had some issues with the Ram site not listing things I knew were options. They told me that the Ram site is very glitchy and not real accurate.
I purchased a 2020 Laramie with the 5’ 7” bed as an impulse buy due to my previous truck being totaled in an accident, and a 6’ 4” bed could not be found within 1K miles of me that had all the features I wanted, so I settled for the 5’ 7” bed. It drove me crazy for about a year or so. I broke...
