Just installed my lift kit and had mechanic mount/balance my new grappler 35's and align it. When programming my new tire size I found that I have to size them over an inch smaller (33.7") to be accurate. Anyone else run into this?
was putting my 2 inch mopar lift on and while torquing everything to spec, the 8mm end of the ball joint spun off. I was able to torque the bolt to spec so it should be good for now.
When shopping, the cheapest arm I found was $300. Anyone know if the ball joint is replaceable by itself and a...
Not really expecting to tow anything regularly other than a 7k camper. I do have to haul a 3500lb 2-car hauler on rare occasion and may push 11k lbs depending on whats on it (maybe once a year depending if I buy a new toy or something breaks).
I'm not one to go over max recommended weights...
I have a 2020 bighorn 5.7 etorque 4x4 crew with the 3.21 gears. The tow rating listed for my truck is listed around 8100lbs. The same truck with 3.92 is listed at 11000 lbs.
My question is, couldn't the 3.21 truck just run a gear higher to make up the difference?
I'm just trying to give them incentive to get the code added. I figure 2 handles and a couple wiring harnesses can't be more than 2 hours of shop time. I figure its worth it because it would probably take me twice that long to do it
Just heard back that the engineer said it won't work. Told the dealer to tell hime to add the code and if it doesn't work it will be on me. I'll see what his answer is after the holiday break
Anyone have pics of this lift with factory 20's? I'm a guy and would love an extra 2 inches (!) but can't stand to buy new wheels/tires with my current set only having 1000 miles on em. I do like my factory blackout 20s as well.
Got the s- type freshly installed and I love it. Barks when you start it (makes for fun reactions at stop lights with the etorque starts) but idles at a neighborhood friendly level. 0 drone with MDS. Think I paid $930 shipped from Realtruck.com and it got here in 3 days.
Called the dealer and was told the head tech say he could get it done and they scheduled me an appt to bring truck in Friday for flash. I'm dropping the truck off tomorrow for lineX so will try and verify the tech knows what he's getting into... fingers crossed
Biggest problem with factory is throttle response. Testing before new tune, pedal halfway to the floor was only sending a 30%signal for absolute throttle so you almost have to floor it for any quick response.
With the 91 octane tune, throttle is actually linear with pedal making response much...
How does one tune the ET module?
And too late on the trans tune, already bought/hooked up diablo. I did keep original ecu to swap for dealer visits. Figure it will hide my indescretions enough unless they actively look for it
I'll probably buy a tune from hemifever after my parts get here after reading around on the forum as I'm not quite familiar enough with these engines to feel good enough about trimming it myself
hey all. Owner of a new 2020 5.7 etorque and had a question about tuning. I previously owned a lightly modded 08 5.7 charger (exhaust/cai/TB/other misc stuff) and remember that the diablo tuners used to have options to can tune based on mods.
I ordered a CAI and Borla catback exhaust system...
