Same for me - our 2nd vehicle is a pacifica plug-in and we drive 70% of the time on elec for much less $$ than gas and crazy torque and regen braking. We also take long road trips and get 30+mpg in hybrid mode. The ramcharger will be awesome for me with 5 times the all elec range of the...
Haven't heard anything on this or a similar post about aux cameras. From what I've gleaned on the internet it seems the aux 1 and aux 2 are basically not used unless you have the very pricing trailer camera prep package from the factory or install OEM aftermarket.
Does the Bighorn have adjustable pedals? I can't remember if what trim that starts with. I have never adjusted them on my Laramie but perhaps that would help?
Agreed - I'm very interested in the idea of a Bighorn or Laramie Ramcharger as it would be a perfect fit for my use scenario. I've been able to trade up every few years since 2014 into new and nicer trucks because of equity and deals though and am less optimistic I'll have enough equity in a...
Not a great picture since I just wanted to get it home and back into winter storage but here is my new to me 2017 Heartland North Trail 24BHS getting some new tires on the trip home from buying it!
I have the integrated brake controller and trailer menu pages ad well as aux 1 and aux 2 bit no additional port at the rear bumper. Seems like those 2 aux camera options in UConnect should be able to somehow link to a trailer camera. I may end up with a seperate screen for a wireless camera...
I am buying a travel trailer that is almost 28ft hitch - bumper and thinking some towing mirror might be nice. Don't want to swap to OEM towing mirrors so curious if anyone has found a good add-on mirror to use only when needed.
If you have the top screen split between 2 applications like maps and Spotify just touch the screen you want to take over - i.em touch the Google maps window and it will become the full top screen. Alternatively to go back to a split tap the tile my finger is pointing to in this pic.
I've noticed this occasionally when parking in my garage with all my trucks - 19, 21 and now 23. Never figures out the cause but never has caused any issues either so I just decided not to worry about it. Will follow to see if others know the cause.
I ordered my 23 with 18" wheels, and I had the dealer swap those onto my 21 and install my 20" wheels with wildpeaks on the 23. Lots of the dealers around here have new take-offs from swapping out OEM wheels and tires on new trucks for custom sets.
On the left side of the screen you should see icons like a microphone and under that a little square icon that will toggle between 1 or 2 screens on the top half. I can take some pics if that doesn't make sense.
As stated above it is a complicated answer. You need to consider all the factors and components and accout for all the people, fuel and gear in the truck and trailer and how you load the trailer as this all impacts payload and tongue weight. Even if you find a trailer over 30' with a tongue...
This is not an anomaly with the right vehicle and lease terms as many vehicles will perform better than the predicted residual. In this case you did essentially buy the vehicle because rather than turn it in a lease end you negotiated a sale to the dealer. I pulled equity for a 2015, 2017 and...
Depends on the deal - I start every lease with the assumption I will buy at lease end (generally the dealer actually buys as my trade). I lease rather than purchase either because the lease deal is better than the financing deal or because the 2-3 cost of ownership is less than a purchase.
You really can't determine if it is a good deal from the monthly payment alone. A good lease starts with a good selling price and then good numbers for the money factor and residual as well as your trade value if applicable. I always start with the sales price and then compare lease vs finance...
If you plan to turn the vehicle in at lease end you may have problems with any mods, if you plan to buy out the lease or work with a dealer to buy it out for trade or sale you can do whatever you want. I've modified all of my leased trucks but have also removed mods at lease end to put on the...
It is true you will have zero equity if you just hand back the keys at lease end but if you negotiate a good upfront deal you can cash out equity by trading-in or buying and selling at lease end. I've leased 4 sunrise and 2 Rams and have had equity in everyone allowing me to upgrade and reduce...
I am getting a travel trailer this spring and interested in adding a backup camera to the trailer. There are lots of wireless options with displays but I would prefer to use the 12" UConnect screen. Are there options that use the Aux 1 or Aux 2 camera input?
