So the plan was to do bilstein max on the front and a once in rear spacer with the bilstein rear 0-1 in the back. So basically an extra inch of lift around the board. But from what I've browsed it looks like you should get new UCA when you do the max setting
I reached out to bilstein and the rear is compatible with 2WD..now its a decision of is it worth it to get UCA, rear shocks (might be worth that no matter what) and then a spacer + installation cost. I think having just the little bit of extra height would look really good but not sure
I am thinking about going down the path of doing mopar UCA, bilstein from shocks at max height, and then a 1 inch rear puck so I can do 295/70r18 on a 0 offset rim. However, I was also wanting to get the bilstein rear shocks but it says it is 4WD only. Can I not use those if I have a 2WD truck?
You definitely do not need or probably want the LT 10 ply tire for your usage. I’d go towards the ridge grappler between those two. Most people seem to love them.
No one has suggested it, but since you have 2WD I highly recommend doing the CST 4 inch lift. It is very similar to the mopar, it will raise the rear either 0-2 inches depending on your choice and raise the front 4 inches. This will allow you to fit a 35x12.5 on a 20 or 18 inch wheel.
This lift...
I absolutely adore my longhorn 2020. I came from a 2015 Ford platinum but always loved the king ranch style. (Side note: I am in Texas :)). Personally, I think the interior of the longhorn is top notch and unrivaled among any truck. I have the black/saddle but without the extra stitching that...
I think it looks great with the factory wheels...I won't be keeping mine but it is nice to see some trucks with non-black wheels
(I say this as I plan on getting fuel contra's.... :))
Might be a dumb question, but seems like most people are getting close to level with the off road springs...can I do that method if I only had a 2WD truck though?
So I’m between two setups, but I don’t know if the 18 inch setup will fit.
Option A: 305/55r20 Nitto Terra grappler g2 XL with hostile alpha in a 20x9 +0.
Option B: 305/65r18 with cooper discoverer AT3 XLT with fuel contra 18x9 either +1 or -12.
I have a 2WD 2020 stock/normal suspension. I’m...
Looks great...notice any difference in ride harshness or performance going to 35s? I really want to get 35s but worried about how it’ll affect driving characteristics
the Mopar kit isn’t a leveling kit, rather a lift kit. However, it would seem from most people that with the mopar kit you maintain quiet a bit of the factory rake, so keep that in mind.
If you are wanting purely just a level, I would say bilsteins are the way to go.
Why in the world did you quote for me for saying do your own research? I am not asking for help on wheel choice and have done this before numerous times.
That’s great to hear, those are the exact tires I’m wanting to go with and was a bit worried switching from the highway tires. Are you flush or just a little bit of poke with the wheels now?
