I'm having difficulties understanding your issue. The perimeter buttons around my 12" display are well-marked and very easy to see, day or night.

Have AlfaOBD look specifically at the ABS module, this is the guy that this likely tripping the warning lights.

I don't know about ESC, but I get that light occasionally when driving in the rain and through puddles. If you find out, please let me know. In my case, the next day when I start the ESC light is out.
