So, I hooked up my 2023 1500 and JScan is showing on live data random cylinder misfires but no check engine light.
The count usually slows down once the engine warms up and increases very very slowly whil driving. Has anyone experienced this and is this normal? I’m assuming no code is thrown...
Yeah, good questions. So the “fix” involved replacing a spark plug that was improperly gapped according to the tech at the dealer. From what I understand, the OBD2 systems detect cylinder misfires by monitoring variations in the speed of the crankshaft through the crankshaft position sensor.
Hey Guys, my 2023 ram 1500 had its engine replaced due to flooding. Recently, I had the check engine light (CEL) come on with a code for cylinder #7 misfire. Went to the dealer and they “fixed” it. I get home and put on the live data module using an OBD-II scanner and all cylinders had a misfire...
Update: So nearly after 3 months, progressive would not budge and said they wanted to replace the engine and the CDJR dealership just returned the vehicle to me today. They swapped the engine for a new one and installed new carpets in front/rear.
Everything seems to be running as it should from...
I took the wheels/tires off and my power running boards. Car has been sitting at the dealer ever since pending for progressive to be able to do their inspection scheduled for May 5th… I’m sure they’re swamped with the amount of claims that have come in.
When I was shopping for a truck 3 months ago the interest rates they offered me was almost 7%. When I did the calculations, the total amount I would’ve paid would have been greater if I had financed than leased by a couple thousand dollars. So, yes I agree, on average it mostly is better to...
Im located in FL, for reference. So, if they give me additional monies for the aftermarket parts but since it’s a lease the valuated/appraised cost of the vehicle may come back lower than what I owe right? Then I’d net really negative and come out of this with nothing.
Hey guys, so we had flash flooding in my area and my truck won’t start. Water got into the engine… I have added new wheels (20” moto metal 962) and tires (Falken wildpeaks at3w 285/65r20). My question is, should I remove the wheels and tires and replace with oem wheels in the event it gets...
Do you mean the right side if you’re facing the truck? If so, the gas tanks is on the drivers side so it would naturally lean that way especially with a full tank. But if you mean it’s leaning towards the passengers side, then, that’s a bit odd.
Moto Metal 962 20x10 -24mm with Falken Wildpeak 285/65r20 on a RC 3.5inch lift (lifted struts and v2 monotube rear shocks) and mopar power running boards 😎
Hey man, I’m thinking of getting the Bushwacker pocket fender flares. Did you have to trim your Bushwacker flares with that setup? I have no flares at the moment and I had to trim the inner corners of the stock mudflaps on the front. I have 285/65r20 with 20x10 -24mm wheels.
I have a Laramie 4x4 level 1 equipment with 12” screen. Msrp was $67,365 and residual is $35030. 42 month lease. Residual Value is at 52%. From reading other peoples posts, it seems like this is standard.
