how long can D status go on for? March 31 order placed. 4.5 months at this point. order was switched to 22 and original paint colour was made unavailable, so switched to pat blue. everything else remained the same so i've been told. taking delivery of a new factory order truck in winter is not...
sure, what do i need to do? the dealer was hopeful that the truck will be fast tracked due to this mess but i have no idea what that means. was really hoping to get some use and a short road trip or 2 before the fall monsoons begin but i'm doubtful.
do these trucks end up with a lot of gravel chips with the stock set up? my truck will be a dark colour and will see a lot of gravel roads so i'd like to avoid paint damage. considering the weather tech mud flaps but thought i'd seek opinions here first.
well **** went sideways on my order which was end of March. GM at the dealer called to say that the olive green has been cancelled and after 2 months in D1 status, my truck is in question. he went on to say that i had to choose another colour, and also, it's switched to a 22 and the 6k rebate...
i did not realize the OE Falken LT tires were actually different than the retail versions. i did some googling and it looks like the OE's are just a lighter, 6 ply version (which is the C rating) vs the retail in the same size which jumps a grade all the way to E and 10 ply. and these are 10...
been in D status purgatory for a long time. dealership says i have a VIN but no build date yet. wondering if i'll see it for any late fall road trips or if it's going to arrive in the dead of winter....
well it sounds like it's pretty good stock. i hadn't heard any complaints but curious. my Frontier (which will be sold as soon as the Ram arrives) short box was very soft stock. basically needed a leaf or new spring pack almost right away. i'm so stoked for this truck. about a month now sitting...
when my truck eventually arrives my long box crew cab will get a canopy (which is already waiting at the cap store) and a 4 bike carrier.
i'm just wondering how you guys feel about the stock springs and are they decently firm, or mushy? i have no plans to lift or mod the suspension unless...
the long wait continues, so i'm asking as someone currently without a Ram. i've seen some threads about oil change intervals and some say 'when the truck tells me'.
so what does that look like? is there a sensor that analyses the oil quality and turns on a light or something? when i google...
same here, factory order with no sunroof. the fact that you can order a Ram and really dial in what you want was a huge draw, (4 interior color options!) besides being an amazing all around vehicle and great looking to boot.
so i posted earlier about my experience with these tires and road noise. well i'm an idiot. i've had the tires since last fall and slowly the truck has become louder, with more vibration and general 'coarseness' in driving.
i started thinking, this is not the tires, there's something wrong with...
mine has been in D status for a couple weeks. does the process pick up steam once it gets to D1 or it all depends? getting frustrated. i'm really hoping that once it gets to the next stage it starts progressing quicker. at this pace i'm wondering if it's going to be here for any summer travel....
given that you've paid the big bucks for a high end air suspension system from the factory, isn't it a bit much to then want to modify this system? couldn't you just press the button and lift the body with air?
