Anyone know how to update the vLinker MC+ OBD reader? Would like to do it without being connected to the truck if possible.
Appreciate in advance any help.
Finally pulled the trigger on two sets of wheels/tires. @CHeYeNNe71 put me over the edge.... lol 🤣 😂
1. Mamba M27 20x9 0 offset & 285/65/20 AT4W
2. Lock offroad Krawler & 285/65/20 Toyo AT3'S.
Going to sell the stock 22's (1500 miles) and maybe the 4Play 22's (5200 miles) to recover some coin.🤔
That was fast. I may have to order some. Got a link?
Did you decide on a wheel and offset? Plan on any trimming/heat gun work? I'm torn between the 285/65/20 or 295/60/20.
I'm looking at those or another set of Toyo AT3'S. Also can't decide if I'm going to use my 22" 4play wheels, stock or buy new 20's. To many decisions..... 😂😂😂
Any spacers on the stock rims? From your pic, it looks like maybe 1/4" of clearance from the UCA. Also, any rub from the tires?
I'm just going to change my front sway bar bushings when I do the lift. Going with Energy Suspension.
Looks good. Mine gets installed in the next two weeks. 🤞 What wheel/tire combo are you running?
For the clunk, have you checked your front sway bar bushings?
Going to order some Suspension Maxx sway bar end links but not sure if I need the 19mm or 21mm nut size. I know I can go under the truck and find out but I'm dealing with a little back issue. Getting under the truck is No Bueno right now. Hoping some of my forum friends can help....
There are a ton of options out there for lifting your Ram. Some things to think about before doing anything.
1. How do you drive/use your Ram. Pavement, dirt, both, etc. Tow or haul often.
2. Are you looking for just the look or to add some performance handling capabilities.
3. Direct...
Looking at adding a hood wind deflector since our Ram windshields are magnets for crap. I also use a car wash, mostly winter, and wondering if that will be an issue.
Question is, are there any issues with hood deflectors cracking, chipping, coming loose, etc that happen when using a car wash?
You may want to look at rear end links that are +1" or +2" to keep the sway bar at the correct angle. Core 4x4 are what i use. Also, SuspensionMaxx front end links for lifted trucks.
It's typical. There is a ton of software/electronics on these trucks.
If you do buy the truck, you should contact @Zach@granger for an extended warranty through Mopar. Its worth it for peice of mind....
Seems like a clean truck and deal. Check the tires to see if they are wearing evenly and not choppy. That will give you an idea if there are any suspension issues. The original tires were Duratracks. Also ask if all Recalls were done and TSB's.
So I ordered mine in Amazon yesturday. Metalcloak already called me, told me my order is being processed and if I had any questions. Nice customer service!
