Air Suspension Leveling Kit - Ready lift Vs. Revel Performance (Air Links / Spacer)

The one thing that must be kept in mind is that there is an ideal "effective spring rate" of these air bags. And that ideal rate is ONLY achieved at one particular "height" or length of the air bag. Any length above or below that ideal length, is a compromise. Just as you can feel vast...

Air Suspension Leveling Kit - Ready lift Vs. Revel Performance (Air Links / Spacer)

Like I said if go too much you will run out of travel in your suspension. Which will ride rough AF and will be dangerous. Because it you are banging the bump stops at either end of your travel, then the geometry of your ball joints will cause them to fail. When joints fail they can separate. If...

Air Suspension Leveling Kit - Ready lift Vs. Revel Performance (Air Links / Spacer)

Just for the record, due to their orientation, the fronts are adjusted in the opposite direction as you did for the rears (make them shorter)

Air Suspension Leveling Kit - Ready lift Vs. Revel Performance (Air Links / Spacer)

My truck is a 2 wheel drive so my nose is in the dirt. Have you compared the length of the Revel links to the length of the factory links that came off of the front? If you didn't write down the "before" ride height measurements then you can simply snap the factory links back on, drive around...

Air Suspension Leveling Kit - Ready lift Vs. Revel Performance (Air Links / Spacer)

If they are Revel links on the rear then unscrew (making them longer) about 6 rounds equates to 1/2" According to the Revell instructions. Hang on to the factory links. Make note of which end of the truck they came off of. Use them for a reference by holding them side by side (adjustable &...

    MPG improvements with different tires?

I would like to run the Michelin Latitude Tour HP but I'm afraid of getting stuck in wet grass, Lol!

    MPG improvements with different tires?

Well damn, that's conflicting with my thoughts. Falken Rubitrek 275/60 R20 weighs in at 46 lbs. Michelin Defender LTX® M/S 2 275/60 R20 weighs in at 39 lbs. I really like the way that the Rubitreks look on the truck but I was thinking that the Michelins would be quieter and ride better in...

    MPG improvements with different tires?

Comment corrected to read "improvement" instead of "change". And I am assuming that he is not driving around on under inflated tires.

Atturo Trail Blade XT - 285/40R/24 - Question

This is what I was thinking as well. With a lot of searching and a little patients you can find great deals on low mileage factory take-offs that will save you the mount & balance fees, and if you can install them yourself you save even more money.

    MPG improvements with different tires?

No tire change will result in any significant Improvement in MPG. What will is steady highway miles in high gear at low RPM. (8th gear at 60 MPH)

    Anyone have FOX 2.0's Installed

Ok Boogielander you seem like the one that may have insight into this question. I'm running Bilstein shocks that are valved for coil springs on an air bag suspension. My Q is how specifically do the "effective spring rates" differ between air bags and coils? Which is more linear? Which drops off...

    Air Suspension Casting Failure!?

Have you contacted: @RamCares yet? Did you read the break down proceedures in those links that I provided? Although I have yet to do it, it seems pretty straight forward. Please answer me this: When I go to disconnect the air line from the shock assembly how do I keep from leaking out or...

    Air Suspension Casting Failure!?

Nice find, that should work. Repair and replacement absolutely should be covered under warranty since it is a manufacturer defect. But it sounds like you are like me and would rather avoid the hassle and do the work myself.
